Three things you should know before betting on Alabama-Texas A&M:
1. The last time Texas A&M beat Alabama was back on November 10, 2012, when Johnny Manziel threw for 253 yards with two touchdowns and added another 92 yards on the ground. Since then, the Crimson Tide have won eight games in a row against the Aggies, and Alabama has covered in five of those contests. The Tide are also coming off of their most impressive win of the season, as they steamrolled the Ole Miss Rebels in a 42-21 victory as 14.5-point favorites.
2. Since the start of the 2017 season, Alabama is 9-0 straight-up and 8-1 against the spread when playing as a favorite of between 14.5 and 22.5 points in the regular season. The Crimson Tide are also 11-3 against the spread against opponents that allow a completion percentage of 58% or worse since the start of 2019. Alabama won those games by an average of 33.8 points per game. For good measure, Alabama is also 7-0 against the spread when coming off a game in which the team committed one or less turnovers since the start of last season.
3. The Over has hit in the last three meetings between these teams, with the two combining to score an average of 73 points per game in those contests. The Over is also 19-8 when Alabama has played as a road favorite of 14.5 or more points under head coach Nick Saban. In addition to that, the Over is 3-0 in the three games that Texas A&M has played as a home favorite under Jimbo Fisher.
