Sunday, July 14 DUEL IN THE SUN (CLMHCP10/125000) took the top, yielded, retook, put away a last turn challenger and drew off as much the best to continue the winning streak. MAX (NW7) roared wide to the third panel with authority from third over and scored handily. BLUE IVY (NW4FM) tucked early, pulled when ready, came uncovered and won going away with plenty in reserve. VERY VERY FAST (NW17500) was just that in comfortable wire to wire score. Monday, July 15 LEGION OF HONOR (NW1) let the speed settle, brushed and rated his own clip proving to be a handy first-time winner in his second start. PASSION STRUCK (NW1FM) was used hard to the lead, set a pressed pace and was a strong winner. ABSOLUTE INTENT (NW2) well-bet second choice was wide and finished full of pace chasing the favorite home. WICKED WIZARD (NW) was a handy down the road winner in last and should find a few more wins here or there. Tuesday, July 16 PEMBROKE BADA BING (CLMHCP10/12599) followed wide and rallied gamely but the winner had gotten away. Beaten favorite can atone in quick order. GLORIA PIERRE (CLMHCP125/15000M) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the half, rallied gamely, took a short lead but got nailed. HOLIDAY HANOVER (NW4) got badly shuffled, rallied late but ran out of track. GO BYEM (NW3000) was parked a while before he got by'em but then it was over as he pulled away powerfully.
