Eblouissante, a half-sister to 2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta and a maiden race winner in her debut last Friday, may start again before the current meeting at Betfair Hollywood Park ends on Dec. 16. Trainer John Shirreffs said he would prefer to run the 3-year-old filly at Hollywood Park instead of in the opening days of the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting that begins on Dec. 26. “I’d rather run here,” he said. “We’d like to see that.” Owned by breeder Eric Kronfeld, Eblouissante, by Bernardini, won her debut in a maiden race over 1 1/16 miles by 4 1/4 lengths. Her next start would be a first-level allowance. Shirreffs described Eblouissante’s post-race condition as good. “She was a bit tired, but normal,” he said. “She didn’t look worse for the wear.”
