The Skinny
The local hope was very impressive in winning the Private Terms two starts back. Broke poorly that day, but made a powerful wide move to the lead on the turn, and drew away from his rivals while never being asked by his rider. Overcame a weird trip to win the Federico Tesio over the Pimlico oval last time out. Broke beautifully from the gate, and cleared the field from his outside post, but was soon pressured, and took back to a stalking position. Ranged up outside the tough filly Pawyne Princess in the lane, but looked like a beaten horse a sixteenth from home, and had to really gut out the win. Has yet to crack the 90 Beyer plateau, and will be taking a huge step up in class, but he is a perfect 5-5 in blinkers, and does have the home court advantage. Has solid stalking ability, but not sure if he's good enough to down these.
