The Skinny
Go ahead and laugh, but I don't think his 11th place finish in the Derby was all that bad. He saved ground every step of the way, and was moving sweetly on the backstretch before racing evenly in the stretch. Don't think this little fella liked being down inside of the cavalry charge, and he didn't seem to appreciate the wet footing. Lightly raced son of Unbridled's Song has plenty of upside potential, but has yet to gain ground from the stretch call to the wire in his three stakes appearances. Must show a good deal of improvement in order to upset the Preakness apple cart.
