The Skinny
Lightly raced colt makes his two-turn debut in the Preakness, but he hasn't done much wrong in his career, and deserves a shot at the big boys. Looked like the real deal in his game Derby Trial score as he battled on the lead throughout, and still held off the closers. Don't think the Derby Trial was deep in terms of quality, however, and he'll be taking a major step up in class for the Preakness. Has the speed to be a nuisance to both Smarty Jones and Lion Heart, and might help set the table for his entrymate The Cliff's Edge. Pace factor must run a lifetime Beyer top to upset these.
