INDIAN EXPRESS
Indian Express galloped 1 1-2 miles on Thursday, with his major exercise for Saturday's race having already been completed. Jockey Tyler Baze arrived on the red-eye from Los Angeles and spent his first morning at Churchill Downs.
There will be no schooling sessions at the starting gate this week for Indian Express, according to trainer Bob Baffert's assistant, Jimmy Barnes.
"We schooled last week and we'll let it be," he said.
Indian Express is Baffert's lone starter in the Kentucky Derby. Kafwain injured a tendon earlier this week, and Senor Swinger starts in Friday's Crown Royal American Turf.
DOMESTIC DISPUTE
Domestic Dispute, purchased from Baffert's stable last week, galloped 1 1-2 miles for new trainer Paddy Gallagher. On Friday, Domestic Dispute was scheduled to have a "blowout" down the stretch, or a quarter-mile workout at the end of a routine gallop.
OUTTA HERE
Outta Here, who will be a longshot, blew out a quarter mile in 24.20 seconds at the end of a gallop. It was the closest Outta Here has had to a workout since arriving from California last Sunday. "It's the first time we let him stretch his legs out," said assistant trainer Pat Seeley.
BUDDY GIL
Buddy Gil, the Santa Anita Derby winner, schooled in the starting gate and is likely to do the same on Friday, according to trainer Jeff Mullins. Buddy Gil also jogged and galloped during Thursday's exercise.
Mullins described the Churchill Downs surface as "hard as a rock. It's harder than Santa Anita," referring to the California track that Buddy Gil trained over since February.

SUPAH BLITZ
Jogged and then galloped one mile with jockey Rosemary Homeister Jr. aboard.
Trainer Manny Tortora said he will not school Supah Blitz in the paddock or the starting gate prior to the Kentucky Derby.
"He's been to the paddock and gate more than enough," said Tortora.
Supah Blitz has made more starts, 15, than any of the other 16 horses in this year's field.
Tortora also tried to make the best of his number one post position.
"The inside post has won the most Derbies," said Tortora. "Although I really wish I could have had a little better choice."
OFFLEE WILD
Jogged in the six furlong chute before galloping 1 1-4 miles. Trainer T.V. Smith pushed his training time back 15 minutes, to 8:30 a.m., when there would be less traffic on the track.
Offlee Wild will mark the first Kentucky Derby starter for Smith who has been in the business for 42 years.
"I hope it doesn't take me another 40 years until I get my second one," Smith said.

EYE OF THE TIGER
Galloped 1 1/2 miles Thursday morning. Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said everything is fine with the colt.
SCRIMSHAW
Was out for his regular gallop before dawn for D. Wayne Lukas, who said "everything is good" with both Scrimshaw and his other Derby starter, Ten Cents a Shine.
SIR CHEROKEE
Galloped a mile at his Trackside training base. Trainer Mike Tomlinson said "we have done all we can, and I'm pretty pleased with how the week has gone."
TEN CENTS A SHINE
Like stablemate Scrimshaw, he was out for a regular gallop before dawn Thursday for D. Wayne Lukas.
