Bio: Has been interested in racing since age 21 when he landed a job as a mutuel teller at the old Georgetown Raceway, a harness track in Delaware. At Delaware Park, Mitchell boldly bet his entire $1,966 real-money bankroll between two horses in the last contest race and nailed a $966 win bet on 4-1 shot to win handily by a $2,275 margin. When not at the track, Mitchell also enjoys coin collecting and bowling.
