Also qualified at Portland Meadows in 2000 en route to a 137th-place finish in Jan. 2001 at NHC II at the MGM Grand. Thoroughbred trainer was introduced to the sport by his father, who was also a trainer. In his career, Lowe has won 364 races and $1,086,350 in purses from more than 2,800 starters.
