Home: Columbus, Oh. Age: 36 Occupation: Administrative Assistant Road to the Finals: Finished third and earned $3,000 in the Arlington Park Handicapping Contest on Sept. 19. Bio: Horseracing newcomer has been involved in the sport since her boyfriend started taking her to some tournaments in 2003. Hobbies include crosswords and camping. Wendy has also started to share her passion for the ponies with her two children. Her 14-year-old son enjoys watching the races, and her 5-year-old daughter enjoys horseback riding.
