Home: Brick, N.J. Age: 55 Occupation: MIS manager Road to the Finals: Finished third and won $2,500 in prize money in the Turf-Vivor handicapping contest at Gulfstream Park on Feb 27-29. Bio: Got interested in racing when his parents first took him to the track at age 16 and later worked for a summer at Monmouth Park, where he still attends the races regularly on the weekends. Has been a part owner of box seats at Monmouth since 1980 and has owned pieces of both Thoroughbreds and standardbreds. Enjoys visiting tracks around the country, and has attended several Breeders' Cups and Triple Crown events, including the 100th Kentucky Derby in 1974. His biggest pari-mutuel scores have been a superfecta for $9,800 and a Hollywood Park pick six for $6,900.
