DRF/NTRA NHC VI
QUALIFIER

BRYNN GALLO

Brynn Gallo
Home: Hudson, Fla.
Age: 34
Occupation: Dental hygienist
Road to the Finals: Finished second in the Tampa Bay Downs Handicapping Contest, which concluded on April 10.
Bio: Brynn is the latest member of the horseplaying Gallo family to have qualified for the National Handicapping Championship. She is the daughter of pick 6 guru and former NHC multiple qualifier J. Randy Gallo, the owner of the Royal River Racing OTB (formerly Bettor Racing OTB) in South Dakota. Including J. Randy, Brynn is the fifth member of her family to qualify for the NHC joining her brother, little Randy, and her uncle, Ross Gallo, and his wife Candace. Brynn was first introduced to horse racing by her dad who took her to Marshfield Park in New England in 1976. Some of her biggest pari-mutuel wins include an $1,100 win bet that returned $3,950. As the only color-bearer for the Gallo clan at NHC VI, Brynn hopes to account for her family's best-ever finish at the National Handicapping Championship, which would take that mantle away from its former holder, her uncle Ross who finished in 17th place last year.
