Bio: Qualified for his second National Handicapping Championship in a row with a victory in the Portland Meadows Handicapping Contest. Finished 230th at NHC V after qualifying with a win in Portland Meadows' contest on April 12-12, 2003. His uncle first took him to the track when he was 13, and he made his first bet at Longacres in 1976. One of his favorite handicapping moments came when he sat at a table with some of the best handicappers in the business including Joe Hinson, Tommy Castillo, and Ross Gallo at the first tournament be played in at the Orleans a few years ago. "My friendship and respect for those guys is priceless," Felix says. He remembers hitting a $200 win bet for a $4,800 return as his biggest mutuel payoff to date. Handicapping runs in Sean's family. His uncle, Claude Davey, is also a past NHC finalist.
