Bio: Not to be confused with the former Democratic Vice Presidential nominee from North Carolina, this John Edwards grew up in Louisville, where he says he couldn't help but become a fan of Thoroughbred racing. Remembers hitting a large win and place bet for a $1,612 return as his best mutuel payoff. Enjoys traveling, and has visited 45 different racetracks plus four in England over the last 25 years.
