Home: Wilburton, Okla. Age: 65 Occupation: Retired highway engineer Road to the Finals: Finished first and won $5,000 in the Brisnet Online Handicapping Challenge on April 24-25. Bio: Got hooked on the races by attending Blue Ribbon Downs in Oklahoma. Terms his own handicapping ability as intermediate, admitting "I know enough to know I donıt know enough." He is new to tournaments but is a longtime horseplayer who remembers once hitting a $1 trifecta for $3,200 at Santa Anita. Colwell says he loves mathematics, permutations and combinations, and thinks thatıs why he loves to play the exotics so much.
