Home: Cheverly, Md. Age: 56 Occupation: Retired carpet worker Road to the Finals: Finished second in a field of 422 players and won $7,000 in the Delaware Park Handicapping Tournament on June 12. Bio: Vietnam veteran and American Legion member was introduced to racing by his friends. Won $7,000 in his qualifying contest at Delaware Park, and also once hit a Pick 6 at Hollywood Park for $8,800. His other hobbies include playing golf.
