Home: Lakewood, Cal. Age: 41 Occupation: Printing. Road to the Finals: Finished second in the Los Alamitos Handicapping Tournament on July 18. Bio: Truelove was hooked on racing when his uncle, a horse trainer in the 1970s, gave his mom some free passes to the track. "I really liked it right from the day one," Still remembers the time he hit a Pick 4 with the $8 a friend at work gave him to bet. The look on his face when he picked up his $700 was priceless. A big fan of betting exactas and trifectas, Truelove works for Trend - a printing company in Los Alamitos. In his spare time, he coaches his son's hockey team.
