Home: Milton, Wash. Age: 61 Occupation: Salesman. Road to the Finals: Finished second in the Ultimate Qualifying Round at Emerald Downs on July 28. Bio: Introduced to horse racing by a friend 35 years ago. Recalls his most memorable handicapping moment came when he and his wife were playing at a Vegas casino. His wife was playing in the casino, so he passed the time by handicapping a Pick 6 at Santa Anita in about 45 minutes using the DRF. He bet a straight $2 ticket, and hit the bet for $21,000.
