Yourmoneysnogood leads Bosselman probables

On Wednesday morning the list of probables for Saturday's $100,000 Bosselman/Gus Fonner Stakes stood at three and more than a dozen were considered possible. The post-position draw for this meet's 1 1/16-mile showcase event was to be Thursday at 11 a.m.

Yourmoneysnogood, Motion Approved, and Tap Dancing Mauk were considered likely to enter.

Yourmoneysnogood scored a front-running 2 3/4-length win April 14 in the $30,000 Dowd Mile Stakes, the local Bosselman prep. Yourmoneysnogood is trained by Kelly Von Hemel. The Debbie Dyer-trained Motion Approved was the runner-up in last year's Bosselman, while Tap Dancing Mauk, trained by Eduardo Caramori, is coming off a pair of sixth-place finishes in graded stakes in Florida. His last win was a track-record performance in the 1 1/8-mile Zia Park Distance Championship on Dec. 10.

The possibles include Stockholder, winner of the $100,000 Omaha Stakes at Horsemen's Park last summer, and More Than Regal, third in last weekend's John Henry Stakes at Evangeline Downs. Both horses are trained by Steve Asmussen.

* R. D. Williams took off the remainder of his mounts Saturday and all of them on Sunday after being thrown hard during Saturday's fourth race by El Alteno. He was scheduled to be back riding this weekend.

o Fonner Park will offer a special Kentucky Derby handicapping contest May 5 in the Executive Suite. The entry fee is $300, with $150 going to the prize pool and the other $150 to be used as a bankroll for the contest.
