Best Bet: SWAGGER BEGONIA (5th) Spot Play: YO CHEYENNE ROCKY (8th)
Race 1
(6) IM A GORDY TOO clearly is knocking at the door and has every right to boss these with the right trip. (2) URBINO HANOVER got the job done in his most recent trip. (3) ICONIC STYLE could land a share.
Race 2

Race 3
(6) SECTIONLINECRUISER gets some class relief and the good news is Manzi stays aboard. (4) CAM VAN BUSSEL also moves down the ladder. (3) ROYAL MORN moves inside and that could help his chances.
Race 4
(2) FRANCO NATURA N did not race badly in his last try and with a better trip, this gelding could make tonight a winning one. (6) FOX VALLEY GRIFFIN put in a mild bid for the show spot recently. (3) CHINA KING His recent qualifier was sharp.
Race 5
(1) SWAGGER BEGONIA Trainer Laterza pushes the down button with this trotting gelding. Can be the boss from the fence tonight. (2) RULE BY STRENGTH put in a game effort in his last trip. (3) CITY KID gets Brennan and that's a big plus.
Race 6
(6) IM NOT TELLING moves up in class but if this sophomore can return to his Sept. 4 try, the rest will be battling for minor honors. (8) COREY ROAD beat better last time out but tonight will have to repeat from the eight-hole. (3) SHOWTIME SHARK could have a say.
Race 7
(6) CROCODILE ROCK Even finish in his most recent start. Sophomore is very capable of taking these pacers to task. (3) STG GRIT rode the rail on his way to victory last time out. (4) MACH ME BAD gets class relief and Brennan.
Race 8
(3) YO CHEYENNE ROCKY Gelding's last try was quite good enough to move another step forward to put him back into the winner's circle. (1) JOKERMAN rallied strongly for the third spot last time around. (7) DAYDREAMIN LYNX could be in the mix.
Race 9

Best Bets
SCAT PATTY can lead gate to wire at a short price if she reproduces her most recent start. She ran well all three starts since claimed by Vladimir Cerin, including a runner-up finish last out at a six-furlong distance slightly out of reach. She finished more than four lengths clear of third, returns at the same class level ($25k claiming, N2L), and shortens to five and a half furlongs. On paper, she is long gone. METAXA will keep the top choice company while dropping in class from maiden-40 starter. CASSANDRA LYNNE has regressed since her winning debut, but drops to a new low.
