Best Bet: ROMANCING RACHEL (2nd) Spot Play: HOOFIN IT (6th) MEET STATS: 51 - 292 / $405.40 BEST BETS: 7 - 26 / $36.40 Race 1 (1) CRUISINWITHMYBABY gets serious post relief and she is in as good a spot as any, as this is a relatively weak field. She could be tough to reel in. (3)  MACS SECURE makes her return to Yonkers. She could improve here if she gets a better setup than she did upstate. (8) BULLVILLE BREN worked out a stalking trip to grab the victory recently; could move forward despite the wide post. Race 2 (5) ROMANCING RACHEL was a down the road winner recently. Four-year-old moves to the 5-hole and figures to be prominent from the start once again. (1) FRANKIE MULLINS could make his presence felt from the pole position; tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip. (2) EXPLOSIVE RIDGE ships in from Jersey with early zip; expecting improvement if able to control the tempo. Race 3 (1) ARI ALLSTAR should get an honest pace to chase and the drop in class clearly adds to the appeal; stands to improve tonight. (3) DUNE DUDE rallied too late last time around. A better-timed run could be in the cards if he works out an ideal stalking trip. (2) WESTERN BAYAMA drops to the basement, which very much puts him in the ballpark with the favorites. Race 4 (1) LADY EAGLE could not handle the Pocono oval last out. Now this mare comes back to the Hilltop where she is unbeaten in 2018. If she is able to race back to her Yonkers victories, than she is going to be very tough indeed. (7) ICANFLYLIKEANANGEL makes her 2018 debut and seems to be in a much softer spot. Tactical speed should help her work out a trip despite the wide post. (5) PRICELESSPOSSESION took charge right from the start on her way to an easy score last Thursday. She may get first run on top pick. Race 5 (2) TYSON seems to be the speed of the speed. Broke on the turn last out at Dover and his day was done. He should enjoy being loose on the lead and could control the tempo; merits consideration for win honors. (5) DANISH DESIGN is one of the expected speeds. He was sent down the road in his Pocono finale for all the glory; respect. (7) PATTON couldn't catch up with Madman Hall in that last one, but the latter controlled the tempo throughout; threat. Race 6 (4) HOOFIN IT comes out of consecutive races that were not that bad as he just missed glory by a half-of-length recently; worth consideration if given a favorable trip. (1) WINTER MINT makes his 2018 debut and gets the luck of the draw. Gelding is a threat at first asking. (3) MEADOWBROK GLIDER got the job done against a softer group at Pocono last time out. Stands to improve with these, though he steps up in class. Race 7 (2) TECH TITAN's third-place finish last time around at the Meadowlands was not that bad given he was parked out approaching the half-mile pole. He may be good enough to handle the rise in his current form if he gets an honest pace to chase. (4) BLUEBIRD JESSE drops in class, which adds to the appeal. Trotter is knocking at the door based on his last two. (8) LE REVEUR N gets class relief, which very much puts him in the ballpark despite the wide post. Race 8 (3) LOTS OF LOVIN makes his return to the inside slot where he has the most success. (7) MASTERSON showed signs of life as he surged late to nail down the placing recently; consider. Race 9 (3) MUZZY MUSCLES's latest at Freehold was not that bad. He displayed good speed in that event and he was put up for second money. Gelding comes back north and if he is able to control the tempo, he will be very tough indeed. (5) CR BLAZIN BEAUTY took charge right from the start in his Saratoga finale but did not have enough gas in the tank for the final stretch run; expecting improvement. (1) MUSCLESANDMARTINIS was dull from door number seven last time out, but the good news is that the gelding draws the pole position where he was a game second three starts back. Race 10 (3) SILVER CREDIT finally gets a better draw, catches a relatively weak group and has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. He can make his presence felt late. (1) PANAMANIAN HANOVER stayed in the pocket most of the way but could not get past a stubborn Trustworthy Kid in his Pocono finale and finished a game second; worth consideration. Race 11 (2) TIME OUTA JAIL is in as good a spot as any of these as he is seeking his first victory of the year. The inside post and positional speed should translate into a favorable trip if he brings his 'A' game; cculd be tough to reel in. (1) TORNADO TIM tipped outside at the 3/4 marker on his way to a half-length score at Saratoga last out, so he must be respected in this event.  (6) DIZZY RIZZY will need a better setup than in her last effort in order for her to contend with these. Race 12 (2) SPINARAMA gets class and post relief, which adds to the appeal, so this gelding stands to improve if he gets an honest pace to chase. (1) SANTA FE BEACHBOY is also on the drop-down and draws the golden rail; not out of the question for win honors. (6) MCSPIDEY gets an outside draw but takes a needed drop in condition.
