Yonkers: Tuesday 4/24 Analysis

MEET STATS: 121 - 451 / $889.00

Best Bet: LISTOWEL (11th)      Spot Play: REDFORD BLUE CHIP (6th)

Race 1

(2) CADENCE N did look sharp in his Chester finale recently. Gelding is capable of getting the job done tonight. (6) ROXIES BIG GUY flashed good speed at this level. (3) VESUVIO GRANDE Nine-year-old gets serious class relief in here.

Race 2

(1) REIGNING DOUGH Trotter can't get a better post and Mr. Doherty pushes the down button. Clearly much the best if he stays on gait. (2) KLM EXPRESS also will get class relief and is the main danger. (3) WHYBABYWHY can complete the trifecta.

Race 3

(4) MANCHINE Hey that was a strong effort recently so there's a good chance this guy is ready to roll and this looks like a good spot to get the job done. (3) RAFFERTY HANOVER finally gets out of post eight and moves inside; the class relief can help his chances. (5) FOX VALLEY TYRESE His last one was quite good to contend with these.

Race 4

(4) LORD BURGHLEY Sharp in his previous start and this guy has great speed so with a perfect trip, he can boss this group. (1) I LOOK SPECIAL broke at the start at Pocono but moves back to where he does his best running. (3) PERFECT SCAM has tactical speed to factor in this event.

Race 5

(5) GAS IT CAM IT Gelding has been right there in his upstate events and his last try he flashed sharp early zip. He can make tonight a winning one if he can reserve some of his early foot. (4) REGO PARK moves down the ladder and his tactical speed makes him a big threat. (3) NO FOREIGN XCHANGE got the job done at this level which puts him right square in the mix.

Race 6

(6) REDFORD BLUE CHIP You have to like his last two trips to the post. Sophomore can be ready to fire his best with Bartlett in the bike. (2) STATION THREEOHSIX Pacing colt moves to Yonkers and might like it here. (1) RELENTLESS G Another that could appreciate the move to the half-mile oval.

Race 7

(1) LEMON DROP HALL draws better and this guy put in a mild rally recently. Can top this group with Brennan who gets the return call. (7) LORD OF THE BLING rode the rail and got the job done at odds-on. Outside slot tonight makes him second best. (4) MAKE IT BRIEF Twelve-year-old could contend with these.

Race 8

(1) OAT MATT DONALD You gotta like the way he stayed on but the winner was much the best last out. Gelding will retain the fence and good to see trainer Quinn stays with Sears to get this guy to victory tonight. (2) BIG TIME ROCKS just missed the score in his recent trip and that puts him right in the hunt. (3) PROBLEM SOLVER could make some noise.

Race 9

(4) BULLVILLE PLAYER He put in two good ones so there's a chance this guy can mow them down at his best. (2) ULTIMATE DESIRE went down the road to victory recently; that makes this six-year-old a big threat. (3) CAMS YANKEE PRIDE almost picked up the win check last time out and is not out of this by far.

Race 10

(4) COREY ROAD Strong score for this Pacing gelding last time around and another repeat effort means game over for the rest. (2) LETS ROLL JOE Ten-year-old just got up at the wire for win honors recently and that puts him right in the mix tonight. (5) R C CRUISER could land a share of the pie.

Race 11

(3) LISTOWEL looked real good at this level in his latest and this pacing gelding can make tonight a winning one with a fine-timed drive from Sears. (4) SILENT PARTNER has a better slot tonight and trainer Green calls on Manzi to drive. (1) ART OF TEMPTATION put in a mild rally in his recent trip to the post.

Race 12

(1) WINORDIETRYING Gelding has everything in the cards. Gets class relief, the rail and has speed. (7) STONEBRIDGE TONIC Five-year-old moves down the scale so there is a good chance he will move forward. (2) TOUGH LOVE moves to the two hole and that might help his cause.
