Yonkers: Tuesday 4/19 Analysis

MEET STATS: 95 - 396 / $634.80

BEST BETS: 11 - 43 / $41.00

Spot Play: MOVEMENT (3rd)

Race 1

(1) SOUTHWIND TERROR was most likely used up in the early stages last out at Pocono; can boss these down the road. (5) MACINTOSH N did show signs of life at his Freehold base last time around. (2) IDEAL FASHION Qualifier at Monticello recently was sharp and he fits with these.

Race 2

(3) M T UR POCKETS Trotting mare just got up for win honors last out at Woodbine; he can take this by default. (2) BLUEBIRD KIDSQUEEN might have found a better group to contend with in here. (1) ALEXANDER LUKAS did put in a nice qualifier here last time out so he could make some noise.

Race 3

(2) MOVEMENT rallied strongly to nail down the show spot last out; capable of moving forward. (5) LORENZO DREAM leaves the 8-hole and the drop in class can help his cause. (4) BASTILLE should do much better from the 4-hole.

Race 4

(1) GLOBAL REVOLUTION was sent down the road but did not have enough gas in the tank and held on for show money last out; ready to boss these at his best. (3) CURIKEE is knocking at the door based on her last two tries at Philly. (5) CRAZYCAT could not get the job done as the chalk last week and settled for the show spot.

Race 5

(4) JUSTICE MY WAY put in a mild rally in his latest and that might be an indication this gelding is ready to fire his best and he gets the services of Brennan. (2) RU READY TO ROCK can't seem to seal the deal with two straight seconds; capable. (6) PRONOLOGY Z TAM has been sharp in his last three tries.

Race 6

(5) NEWCASTLE Sharp in victory in the series making it two straight. Gelding is in very good form so the hat trick is clearly not out of the question. (3) STORMONT PARK has put in two good efforts in a row; threat. (6) SUMMERS WINDSONG just missed glory by only a neck last time out.

Race 7

(4) DOUBLEDAY is 0 for 7 this year but this might be a perfect spot for this 4-year-old to make some noise. A favorable trip can put him right back into the winner's circle. (1) J A T O is a very consistent trotter now draws the rail and should be the main danger. (5) A LIST LINDY has wheeled off two straight victories.

Race 8

(4) MAESTRO BLUE CHIP Been super in his last two trips here winning by a combined 12 lengths. Trotter will be the one to deny. (1) JERICHO should get a much better trip from the fence. (5) LATOKA was sent down the road in his last start for all the glory.

Race 9

(6) MADMAN HALL Sharp on the engine but was nailed for the score in his previous start. Gelding has a fondness for the Hilltop so top honors is not out of the question. (5) SOUTHWIND HOPE just got up to get the job done via the pocket route last out. (2) ROSE RUN QUICKLEY Easy score at Philly last out so he must be respected for exotics.

Race 10

(1) ARMOR HANOVER used the second tier to his advantage for the victory last time around. Trotter now moves to the rail and has every right to make it two in row despite the rise in class. (2) FOX VALLEY STEFFEN has been sharp in his last four tries. (4) FLIRTING DUEZY could contend with these off two nice scores at Monticello.

Race 11

(4) PIERCEWAVE HANOVER gets serious post relief after a fast closing fourth last time out. Trotting gelding appears to be heading in the right direction. (2) NORTHERN OBSESSION She make a bad break and lost all chance in her last try but she is clearly better than that recent effort. (5) P L INDYANACA took the pocket route home for glory in her last trip to the post.

Race 12

(4) BELIEVEINTHESPIRIT Gelding was quite good in his last start at Philly for the place spot. With a favorable trip he can get the job done. (1) HALL OF TERROR might have been used up in the early stages last time around and tired to the fifth spot. (8) RAMPAGE JACKSON has fine speed; post hurts but he is capable.
