Best Bet: ROMANCING RACHEL (9th) Spot Play: MR MATCH ON BEACH (12th) MEET STATS: 62 - 352 / $510.90 BEST BETS: 10 - 31 / $55.60 Race 1 (4) BRIAN J leaves the 8-hole and catches a weak group. Could be ready to roll with a better-timed run. (5) KJ ERICH seems to be knocking at the door based on his last two tries; threat. Dover invader (2) CABBIES DELIGHT was sharp last out missing the victory by a head; not out of this. Race 2 (7) TIRADE HANOVER comes by way of Pocono with good early trot. Gelding gets a tough draw but he could work out a favorable trip; very tough indeed. Monticello shipper (4) DEMAND AN ANSWER seems to be good as any. Must be respected based on his solid resume? (2) GONNA FLY challenged in the pocket but could not get past a pumped-up Panamanian Hanover recently; factor. Race 3 The good news for (2) GOLDEN GESTURE is he leaves the outside slot and drops in condition. Could improve here if he gets a better setup. (1) UNCLE LILE A was quite sharp on the front and held on for win honors in his Meadowlands finale and he seems to be a major player from the fence. (4) BOLD AND BRASSY did close well at Pocono last out; now he is back at Yonkers and catches a weak field so he is worth consideration. Race 4 (2) SHEER ACTION should get an honest pace to chase and with his inside post puts him in the ballpark with the favorites; using. Delaware invader (1) DONNIE DARKO does have good speed and he may be good enough to handle the rise in his current form. (7) STARSABOVEALLERAGE had a tough trip last time around but he did close strong in the last quarter; factor. Race 5 (1) KRONWALL ran his heart out in the series last week but could not hold off the charge of tough Freddie Mac. Trotter now moves to the fence where he figures to be prominent from the start once again. (6) ICANFLYLIKEANANGEL did not have the best of trips but nobody was going to catch the winner Le Reveur N so he fits well off his latest.  (4) BLUEBIRD JESSE gets serious post relief and that might help his cause. Could improve here if he gets a better setup than in his last try. Race 6 (7) DANISH DESIGN was up against it last out facing some toughies in Seasoned Saint & Tyson respectably. Outside slot hurts but he has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip; could be tough to reel in. (2) SKYWAY COBRA challenged Le Reveur N in the pocket most of the way but just could not get past as the latter got the job done wire-to-window; big threat. (3) KEYSTONE CHARGER moves inside and he should find these trotters to his liking; expecting improvement. Race 7 Will give the trotting mare (8) REVEREND NANNY another shot at glory. Her last trip was not that bad given she was taking on some tough boys in Ei Ei O and Optimist Blue Chip respectably. Stands to improve if she gets a favorable position and a clean trip. Three consecutive wins for (3) SEASONED SAINT makes him the logical favorite against these. (2) DWS REVENGE surged very late to miss glory to the tough trotting mare in Romancing Rachel by three-quarters of a length last week and he appears to be a player. Race 8 (5) LE REVEUR N was loaded with early trot in the second leg of the series last week on his way to victory. Should be tough to reel in again if he is able to control the tempo. (3) FRANKIE MULLINS comes out of two sharp consecutive races and good to see Bartlett is keeping the faith with this trotter. Should make his presence felt from door number three. (6) OPTMIST BLUE CHIP went down in defeat as the odds-on choice. He is in a good spot as any and he might receive first run on the top pick so watch out. Race 9 (5) ROMANCING RACHEL took down the boys in her last three outings and she appears to the one to deny if she minds her manners. (6) HOOFIN IT had dull cover but he did close well to grab the show spot in the series last week. Should get an honest pace to chase from his outside post; factor. (1) ONTHEROAD DE VIE gets serious post relief and Bartlett staying in the bike adds to the appeal; consider. Race 10 (6) STARSKYS DREAM N did flash early pace against tougher company last time around. Now he gets class relief so he stands to improve with a clean trip. (3) ONEISALONELYNUMBER goes to door number three and he does have the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. (4) SURE FIRED BET ran a splendid race for show money recently so improvement expected from this pacer. Race 11 (6) ROBIN J was extremely wide approaching the three-quarter marker but she just was not good enough to take down Diamondtoothgertie. The latter enjoyed an easy victory last week so the former has every right to turn the tables on that rival with a better-timed run. (3) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE was loaded with pace on her way to a four and a quarter length victory recently; the one to fear again. (4) SALLY FLETCHER A moves to the 4-hole and that might help her cause if she is able to run back to her 3-26 trip at Saratoga. Race 12 (4) MR MATCH ON BEACH is coming around to winning form, inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip; using. (3) BAMSKI is clearly knocking at the door based on his last two starts; respect. (1) TEMPSTER SEELSTER comes out of two good consecutive races and now he draws the fence; might be tough.
