Yonkers: Tuesday 4/12 Analysis

MEET STATS: 101 - 333 / $577.90

BEST BETS: 14 - 28 / $51.60

Best Bet: MAESTRO BLUE CHIP (10th)

Race 1

(3) MC DYNAMITE is better than he's been showing and he seems way overdue for a win; veteran could be close enough to strike, (4) SEA STAR drops in class in his third start off the DiDomenico claim. (1) MISTER ACCUMULATOR shocked everybody last out but there's tougher rivals to contend with today.

Race 2

(4) LATOKA kept up well last week to a runaway and this looks like a good spot to resume winning ways. (1) KEYSTONE BODACIOUS will be right there if he behaves himself. (6) SUMMERS WINDSONG looks for two straight but will have to do it from the outside.

Race 3

(5) MERGATROID was aggressively handled last week and flattened late; Svanstedt trainee could be tighter second start off the bench. (7) HOT SUMMER KNIGHT closed well last out; big threat if somehow closer this week. (6) STORMONT PARK has some class and Bartlett drives.

Race 4

(3) MADMAN HALL came from well back last week to win; Stratton drives the Schnittker trotter again versus a similar grouping. (4) P L INDYANACA has Bartlett driving for the leading trainer and they should be forwardly placed throughout. (10) MILITARY BLUE needs to navigate the second tier but clearly he fits with these.

Race 5

(3) MR WEB PAGE makes his debut for Allard and his second qualifier was much-improved; veteran could be ready to go right off the bench. (4) CELEBRITY BLUECHIP gets away from the second tier and will be more involved. (8) LORENZO DREAM has plenty of speed and could be close up at a big price.

Race 6

(4) CRAZYCAT clearly has ability but also clearly has trouble minding his manners; Stratton's choice will be tough with a clean getaway. (1) FYGI BROS better be more involved from this spot today. (5) CLOUD NINE HANOVER makes his 3-year-old debut and the Norris trainee has some stakes experience.

Race 7

(5) A J DESTINY leaves the amateur ranks and returns to Brett Miller, who teamed up to win with this trotter two back at The Meadowlands; worth a long look if the price is right. (3) FOR YOU ALMOSTFREE gets class relief and returns to Bartlett. (4) ON THE PODIUM is up a notch off a tough beat and the Godinez barn has been going well of late.

Race 8

(10) CREAMPUFF MACDADDY returns locally from Canada and now joins the Milici barn; remember this trotter was a Yonkers Trot finalist a few seasons back. (1) BRICKYARD TOOTS lands at the baswement level and the Baynes trainee should be a major player. (3) PLAY THE JUSTICE gets some needed post relief.

Race 9

(8) ALMAFI COAST failed to get involved last week but drops back to the level where he's always a big player; an alert getaway can get it done. (1) BLOOMFIELDCANTIFLY picks up Tetrick and should be close up throughout. (4) BALLARE HANOVER has been much-improved with Lasix added.

Race 10

(5) MAESTRO BLUE CHIP jogged at 1/9 in round one of the series and figures to easily repeat here; the no place or show wagering is a bit extreme, however. (6) TUSCANELLIE was a shocking winner last week; must respect despite the outside draw. (2) FOREVER AS has broken in her last two local starts but with a clean trip she can land a share.

Race 11

(1) COVERT OPERATIVE broke last week while involved in the early action, then requalified the very next day; Sears drives today and he deserves another try. (3) NEWCASTLE was a game winner in round one and can certainly repeat, but is he so imposing that there's no show wagering? (4) MADHATTER BLUECHIP is another Svanstedt trainee who deserves respect.

Race 12

(3) V I P BAYAMA drops in class again and gets needed post relief; this looks like a spot for Lachance to get aggressive. (5) THIRTY TWO RED was better last out and looks like a good fit at this level. (1) MONTREAL PHIL has missed time and is in a new barn so who knows what to expect but his best effort puts him right there late.
