Best Bet: ROMANCING RACHEL (4th) Spot Play: WHISKERSONKITTENS (9th) MEET STATS: 58 - 328 / $461.40 BEST BETS: 9 - 29 / $52.30 Race 1 (1) FIVE CARD DRAW N tracked throughout while sitting in the pocket but could not get past Sapphire City in his recent event. Tactical speed and the pole position should translate to a favorable trip; threat. (3) DOUBLE YOUR BET had live cover at the 3/4 pole but Grand Theft & JK Heaven Sent were just too good last out, now he is in a good spot as any; player.  (3) TREASURE MACH makes his return to Yonkers and he is zero for eleven so far this year. But the good news is he moves down in class, which very much puts him in the ballpark with the race favorites; factor. Race 2 (1) WINNERESS came uncovered at the half-mile pole challenging the eventful down the road winner Optimist Blue Chip in the series last week. Stands to improve tonight if he gets a better set-up and a clean trip. (6) BLUEBIRD JESSE tipped out from the 3-hole turning for home on his way to a three-quarter length victory recently. Figures to be prominent from the start once again; dangerous. (5) FRANKIE MULLINS was sent to the front but he did not have enough gas in the tank and had to settle for show money last out. Could be tough to reel in if he has first run on the top pair. Race 3 (4) GLAMORGAL came up empty against some of these however was completely hung out to dry most of the way and her night was done. Should get an honest pace to chase and with a better-timed run she could greet the camera operator for pictures. (3) ALWAYS A VISION showed no pace recently but she came close to getting the job done against Kamwood Laughter N two events ago. Could improve here if she gets a better setup than she did in her latest. (5) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N is clearly the speed of the speed but she seems to tire late in the stretch run. Worth consideration if she is able to control the tempo and sustain it. Race 4 Will be tough to beat (2) ROMANCING RACHEL in round number two of the series. Trotting mare has scored in her last two tries; ran a splendid race parked from the half-mile pole and kept on going. She is clearly the one to deny if she gets a clean trip. (5) PAPPY GO GO was a sharp winner against NW6 on March 8 and he is making his comeback off a super qualifier last week at Pocono; threat. (1) ACES AND EIGHTS recovered nicely after the break in the start to land the show spot last time out. Inside post could help his cause with a favorable trip. Race 5 (2) TECH TITAN came up empty in the series last week but will take a shot with him to turn things around. Tempo should be honest for him to work out an ideal stalking trip; using. (6) ICANFLYLIKEANANGEL pulled out if the 3-hole on his way to an easy victory at a square price last time out in the series. Gelding is one of the expected speeds and he should make his presence felt again. (5) CHAPTER TOO was very sharp in her latest but she could not be the boss against Bluebird Jesse & Le Reveur N. Could atone if she gets a better setup than she did in her recent outing. Race 6 (2) LIGHTNING MACH N gets serious post relief so she's clearly worth consideration if she brings her A-game to the table. (6) MONICA GALLAGHER comes by way of the Meadowlands with a fine 2018 resume. May be good enough to handle these despite the wide draw. (3) SKINNY DIPPER Is knocking at the door based on her last two tries. Has the positional speed to work out a nice stalking trip; factor. Race 7 (7) HOOFIN IT is zero for three so far this year though the gelding's form is quite sharp. Expecting improvement with a better-timed run from Mr. Stratton. (2) TICKET TO SEATTLE was evenly throughout her last try but she was facing a pumped-up Ei Ei O last week in the series; could be a handful if she gets away cleanly. (8) MEADOWBROOK GLIDER came first-over approaching three quarters. Ran well but could not get to the eventful winner Seasoned Saint last out. Tactical speed should help him work out a trip despite the far outside slot. Race 8 (6) REVEREND NANNY was very game in her last one but she could not catch up with Icanflylikeanangel who was loaded with trot. She is in a good spot despite the wide post so the trotter stands to improve if she is able to run back to her last start. (1) OPTIMIST BLUE CHIP Sent down the road by Andy Miller from his outside post for his second straight score last week in the series. Could be tough to reel in if he once again brings his A-game to the table. (2) EI EI O moved from the pocket approaching three-quarters to hold on for win honors last out. Looms to be a factor against these if he minds his manners. Race 9 (2) WHISKERSONKITTENS surged very late but she was no match to the top pair of Set Me Up & Royal Knockout respectably. Now she moves to door number two where she might have first run on these; using. (1) DIAMONDTOOTHGERTIE is a very consistent mare and draws the pole position with plenty of early pace. Ran a splendid race last out in the Petticoat final so this mare should make her presence felt if she is able to control the tempo. (6) DEUCES FOR CHARITY comes out of three consecutive races and he has been picking up checks. Tough post in here but she does have the positional speed to work out a favorable trip; factor. Race 10 (1) DANISH DESIGN showed good early trot in the first round of the series last week. Now he moves to the fence where he can clearly control the tempo so with that said he could be tough to reel in. (5) ONTHEROAD DE VIE put in a mild rally for third but no one was going to catch the red-hot Optimist Blue Chip last week. Stands to put his best foot forward with a clean trip. (4) TYSON left the 3-hole approaching three-quarters but came up a little short against a sharp Ei Ei O last week in the series so he is worth consideration for win honors. Race 11 (3) SEEKING STEVEN may be good enough to handle the rise in class. Trotter showed signs of life recently from post seven. Now with an inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip; the pick. (1) STEED did not race badly at the Big M and now gelding moves back to Yonkers where he does have a lifetime mark on this oval; consider. The drop in class adds to the appeal for (2) SUMATRA who is another that knows how to handle the Hilltop so improvement is expected. Race 12 (2) QUICK FUN N takes a needed drop in class, retains door number two and has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip; using. After a brief stay in Southern California (4) SOME PLAYA makes his return to Yonkers and this seems to be a much better spot; Win factor. (7) URBANITE HANOVER Jersey invader came close to getting the job done last out. Tactical speed should help despite moving to the far outside; consider.
