Yonkers: Thursday 9/6 Analysis

MEET STATS: 14 - 46 / $100.00

Best Bet: Deny Deny Deny (5th);  Spot: Track Master D (3rd)

Race 1

(4) URBINO HANOVER has been racing pretty well and picks up one of the more experienced amateur pilots in the U.S. Plus the crazy outside speed of (8) ALLAMERICAN INCA should ensure a quick clip. The latter is hard to figure but impossible to toss. (1) IDYLWOOD PHOENIX has a good chance if he keeps his form for new connections.

Race 2

(3) BLUERIDGE TORNADO comes off a tough trip after missing two months of action. He should be much tighter this week and seems worth following for a high percentage barn. (5) ARMBRO CASINO is a veteran with early speed and plenty of class. He drops down to a winnable spot. (1) MY MAN moves inside with Brennan and will take plenty of money.

Race 3

(1) TRACK MASTER D went an easy mile last week for $11,500. Now this colt goes for $72,905 and faces a pretty light group. He is the one to beat as the slight favorite. (6) A BETTOR WORLD comes off a career best effort and does get Brennan. (2) SWIFT AS A SHADOW certainly has a chance but is far from a true 6-5 M/L favorite. If that is the price, count me out.

Race 4

(2) LITTLE MISS HENRY should be firing off the gate and may never look back. (4) BLUE MONSTER is another with early zip. If this Down Under driver can find the pocket, he has a shot. (6) SO CONFUSING is hard to toss on paper.

Race 5

(1) DENY DENY DENY has Tetrick, form and the rail; lots to like. (3) AMERICASGOTTALENT looks like the main danger. (2) VISA VIPER has righted the ship of late.

Race 6

(2) JEANIE MARIE switched barns and perked up immediately. I’ll stay with this gal. (6) FORT VALLEY AS only needs to stay flat to have a big shot. (1) TSMLIL ORPHAN ANDY was a solid second last time at this level. (8) STAND GUARD wouldn’t be a shock despite the tough post.

Race 7

(3) ARTIST NIGHT seems to be improving each time he steps on the track. I can see Pierce grabbing the bull by the horns tonight. (7) HAIL THE TAXI is far and away the best in here, but he drew poorly and hasn’t started in over a month. Don’t be shocked if he is raced patiently. (2) TIJUANA PARTY should get away close and get a piece. (4) SIR CARYS Z TAM beat lesser last time.

Race 8

(5) DOCTOR BUTCH is clearly the one to beat and will likely win tonight. That said, I’m not sure he is worth the likely 2-5 mutuel. (3) BET THE MOON is right there every week but finishes second too much for my liking. (7) RONNY BUGATTI has been racing well. I’d give him a shot at a price in the exotics.

Race 9

(5) LETS ROLL JOE doesn’t make me want to run to the windows but seems better than these. (3) JOLLY LESTER has early speed and should be using it. (4) PRINT IT moves into a new barn; rebounds?

Race 10

(5) ALL STAR DRAGON finds a good spot to use his early speed. Brennan can definitely wire this bunch at a decent price. (3) VERY UPSET RICHIE moves into a good barn and is ultra-sharp. (2) SHOTGUN A is a rare 11-year-old getting claimed often. This guy has a shot.

Race 11

(2) PRINCESS MCARDLE N comes off a good effort and faces either dull foes or those moving up in class. (1) IM JUST SPECIAL moves inside and has speed. (3) MOJARRA HANOVER should hug the cones and get a decent piece.

Race 12

(6) ORPHAN ANNIE dropped down and was handled conservatively. If the trip is decent, she can win. (2) I GOT SKILLS looks like the one to beat. (1) RUNAWAY ROSE has speed and should hit the exotics.

Race 13

(3) AMERICAN HILL has been on fire lately and might offer some small value with (7) LATE FLYIN N, who has won five straight, signed on. (2) GROUNDED needs to save ground and find room, but if she does, she could have a say.
