(5) FROG POND PRINCESS was empty last week but was a winner at this level three back. (3) AMERICAN ALIVE should be close up throughout but needs to show more late. Race 2 (7) MIDNIGHT EXPRESS S seemed a touch overmatched in the Dexter elimination, his 3-year-old debut. Svanstedt trainee should find these more to his liking. (1) SEVEN ROSES was second best to a heavy favorite last out. (2) BRUTAL STORM ships in for Smedshammer off an even effort last out at The Meadowlands and he was a winner the start prior at Freehold overcoming an early break. Race 3 (3) BULLVILLE KYLE pays the bills by delivering when dropped to this level. (2) MY MIND IS MADEUP is accustomed to facing much better but may need a start off the layoff. (8) SOHO JACKMAN may be a shell of his former self but I'm not tossing him completely from this spot, especially at a big price. Race 4 (3) THE LAST CHAPTER was badly bothered in the Bonus Trot consolation and should handle these with smooth sailing. (1) SOUTHWIND RICH was keeping up nicely before breaking two back and he can be close to the action again from this spot. (6) REVEREND NANNY has good speed and could hang around for a share. Race 5 (6) R CAAN just missed last week and is trip-dependent but has the class to get it done. (1) I'M THE REAL MAJOR tripped out to be second best last out and could do so again. (4) JK PATRIOT is back up in class off the claim for connections who did well with him in the past. Race 6 (4) TOUR DE LINDY beat similar three straight over at Pocono before landing in a tough spot last out; Lucas Wallin trainee seems to deserve top billing versus these. (6) KEYSTONE CHARGER was Stratton's choice and jogged last week. (5) LIFE WELL LIVED has raced well in his last two and seems to get along well with Bartlett. Race 7 (2) TRIPLE SEELSTER gave way badly while uncovered as the odds-on favorite powered away last week but he surely needed that start off the long layoff and he could have more to offer tonight. (3) IRA CHIEF lands in a much better spot and did beat this type four back with Bartlett in the bike. (8) FEEL THE NEED A has been the camera-shy type for a long time now but he may have a chance if put in play early. Race 8 (5) TOUGH MUDDER was aggressively handled in his last two by Brennan moving uncovered early and he held well in both races; DiDomenico trainee may be able to fly home if covered up. (4) BEAST MODE gets much-needed class and post relief; big player. (1) HERE WE GO AGAIN kept up for second last week and he lands the rail again. Race 9 (2) WESLYNN DANCER powered away impressively in her last two and is tough to go against in this spot. (7) CHAPTER TOO can fire from the gate and should be right there if he minds his manners. (5) HOOFIN' IT has hit the ticket in five of six this year. Race 10 (2) NEON SKY N drops in class, moves back inside, returns to Stratton and anything like her effort two back will be enough to beat these. (1) VILLAGE JESSICA could be rounding back to form and is a clear speed player from this spot. (4) HIDDEN LAND fits here but doesn't win nearly as often as she should. Race 11 (1) CAPOZZO raced okay last out from an impossible spot but now gets the important class and post relief. (6) NATIONAL SEELSTER should be blasting from the gate which makes him a big threat. (5) BEACH MEMORIES beat much lesser at Pocono and has beaten better than these in the past but he's also missed three weeks. Race 12 (6) THE REV came up a bit short after a two-move front-end try in his local return; classy veteran could be tighter tonight. (5) ART HISTORY dug in stubbornly to beat lesser last week, his debut for new connections.
