Best Bet: CARRICK (2nd) Spot Play: SPORTSMANSHIP (5th) MEET STATS: 51 - 292 / $405.40 BEST BETS: 7 - 26 / $36.40 Race 1 (7) BABY REMIND ME was parked the entire trip last out and was done turning for home. She could be a handful if she gets away cleanly. (1) OUR GAMMA LADY N took control of the tempo last time around but did not have enough gas in the tank. She is up in class for this but she fits well off her latest. (2) AMERICAN ALIVE comes off two consecutive placings. In the last one she just missed glory by a nose; could be tough with a better-timed run. Race 2 (1) CARRICK ran a splendid race recently at Pocono given the fact he was uncovered throughout. The inside post and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip; threat at his best. (2) POSSIBLE CREDIT angled outside at the 3/4 pole and ran them down for the victory in his Freehold finale. Despite moving up in condition, she could make her presence felt late. (6) GIRL TALK gets class relief and that might help her cause; expecting improvement. Race 3 The drop in class was the trick when (1) BUCKLE UP took the pocket-rocket trip to get the job done last time out. The gelding retains the pole position and if he is able to run back to that one, he is going to be very tough indeed. (5) GRANDPA DON posted two consecutive sharp efforts and is one of the expected speeds. He might get first run on top pick; huge threat. (6) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U did not race badly in his latest. Door number six hurts but he has the positional speed to work out an ideal stalking trip; consider. Race 4 (3) CON AIR HALL 2018 debut was not all that bad, finishing a well deserved second last week. He is in a good spot as any, as this is a relatively weak field; worth consideration for win honors. (5) MERRY HANOVER was uncovered at the 1/2 marker and took charge at 3/4's on her way to an easy score last out. She merits respect despite the rise in form. (4) BARN SIS leaves the 8-hole and she is clearly knocking at the door. She stands to improve tonight if she gets a better setup than she did in either of her last two. Race 5 (2) SPORTSMANSHIP has not hit the board in 10 starts this year. However, the good news is the pacer catches a softer group tonight. In his last try he did show some early zip, which very much puts him in the ballpark with these; should get an honest pace to chase. (4) PERCYS Z TAM was put up for second money last week. He has the positional speed and that might translate to a favorable trip; factor. (7) IYQ YQR was facing tougher in his last try, flashing good speed before tiring in the final stretch run. He might come out running at this level despite the wide post. Race 6 (3) KATCH KANNA could not catch up with a pumped-up Brooklyn Bound in that last one, but the latter enjoyed a loose lead. He takes a deserving drop in class and figures to be prominent from the start.  (1) NEW HEAVEN has five consecutive on the board finishes, the rail position and he is moving down in class. That combination makes this gelding a threat for win honors. (6) PINGALING ran a splendid race but could not get past the sharp Romancing Rachel recently. He could improve if he gets a favorable trip. Race 7 (1) JK HEAVEN SENT was loaded with pace throughout, but caught for win honors by a game Grand Theft on 3-29. He stays in same company while seeking his first score in 2018. The inside slot puts this gelding in the ballpark for glory. (3) YO CHEYENNE ROCKY gets serious post relief. The last time this veteran was in the 3-hole, he was sharp third at the Meadowlands; figures to make his presence felt late. (6) B SEVENTEEN drops in class and that adds to the appeal. Outside post hurts, but if he gets a favorable stalking trip, he could be a factor in this event. Race 8 (4) TEMPSTER HANOVER showed signs of life when he controlled the tempo most of the way before tiring late recently. If he is able to run back to that event, he will be very tough to down indeed. (1) LAUXMONT CAPRI moves to the fence where this gelding has had better success; stands to improve with an honest pace to chase. (6) HELLO HOT SHOT posted a mild rally for fourth money last time around and that could be some indication he is ready to make his presence felt late. Watch out! Race 9 (2) BROWN BRINNY gets class relief coming off a very game third-place finish last out. She might greet the camera operator for pictures if she is able to control the tempo. (6)  SET ME UP posted four consecutive scores and that makes this mare a prime contender for her fifth straight victory. She figures to be prominent from the start once again. (7) DWSBLISSFULTHINKN put in a mild bid for the show spot on 3-23. However, she was facing two good ones in Milady Denver A & Macho Chick; stands to improve despite moving to door number seven. Race 10 (3) SPRINTER N blasted right out from the 8-hole to grab the lead briefly but tired badly approaching the half-mile post in last week's event. Gelding finally receives post relief and making his second start on the drop-down adds to the appeal. He only needs a favorable trip in order for him to contend with these. (2) QUALITY CLOSER ran a splendid race for the placing, losing glory to a pumped-up Mr Hasani N on 3-27; expecting improvement. (1) ST LADS MOONWALK did not fire his best at the Big M last out but now he moves to Yonkers and has the pole position, where he could be able to control the tempo. Race 11 (2) ALLSTAR PARTNER was very dull in his last two starts. With that said, the  gelding now gets serious post relief, drops in class and tactical speed should translate to a favorable trip. He is in a good spot as any of these to make tonight a winning one. (3) PRINCEOFTHEFOREST angled outside at the half making a run turning for home to nail the favorite Heez Orl Black N in his first attempt at the Hilltop. He will be a handful once again with another timed run. (6) SHADY CITY after four consecutive third-place finishes here, maybe he is finally ready to put his best foot forward given his positional speed. Do not overlook him. Race 12 (4) TORRID BROMAC N posted an even finish recently against tougher stock. Now this pacer moves down the ladder and has the tactical speed to work out an ideal stalking trip. May be good enough to boss these if he is at his best. (7) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A was as game as any last time out. He moves back to the 7-hole where he was a down-the-road victor on 3-15 and may get first run on top pick. (2) AMERICAN VENTURE was stuck on the far outside last time. He seems to be a tough customer when he is on the inside, so if he is able to run back to his 3-13 score, he will be very hard to beat.
