Best Bet: DUEL IN THE SUN (1st) Spot Play: MADIBA MAGIC N (7th) MEET STATS: 131 - 414 / $712.50 BEST BETS: 18 - 33 / $64.80 Race 1 (2) DUEL IN THE SUN has been much better since Banca took over and that barn has been very hot; veteran should go down the road tonight. (5) LUKES COWBOY hasn't been that great off the Garcia-Herrera claim but seems capable of better. (1) SCARLET CHASER gets much-needed post relief which makes him a player. Race 2 (3) BROADWAY CREDIT makes his career debut for Team Bongiorno and if he races close to that effort in the recent qualifier he'll he tough to defeat; 6/1 morning line is a pipe-dream, however. (7) LOGETTA had a useful seasonal debut and can build off that effort. (6) COACH CUMMINGS hit the ticket in two of his last three at The Meadowlands for Schnittker, both at big prices. Race 3 (2) OUR ELS DREAM N gets both much-needed class and post relief tonight which should make the difference. (3) SUDDEN CHANGE N was a pocket-sitting winner last week and may look for a similar trip. (4) HERETIC FRANCO N is as inconsistent as they come but she's always capable of a good effort to land a share. Race 4 (6) CON AIR HALL has raced well in defeat in his two seasonal starts and deserves a look on top, despite his 3 for 40 career record. (4) CHROMEO was a sharp winner at The Meadowlands off the bench for Smedshammer and the lightly-raced 4-year-old could have more to offer. (3) NEW SHERIFF went wire-to-window last out beating lesser. Race 5 (3) CENTURY CHURCHILL returns locally into a softer spot and has a post edge on a couple of classy rivals; weak vote. (8) GYPSY LEATHER dropped to this level but failed to get involved last week; he's stuck outside again but has plenty of class and will be a threat if he can generate some early speed. (7) CONTINUAL HANOVER has been awful recently but he does go second-time Lasix for a good barn. Race 6 (5) CELIA CANTABA gets Stratton in the bike again for the Schnittker barn, which has been going well of late, and the mare meets nothing special here. (3) PINGALING is always a threat if he can mind his manners. (2) OSVALDO BLUE CHIP raced very well in his last two and must be considered from this good inside spot. Race 7 (1) MADIBA MAGIC N returned from vacation and blasted down the road; veteran gets a free ride at this bottom level and is classy enough to repeat. (4) RISE UP NOW drops back to the level of his blowout win two back; main threat. (2) PERCY'S Z TAM flashed good speed last week but was shuffled; everything from this barn merits consideration. Race 8 (3) BETTOR ROCK ON N never fired for the Fusco barn off the $50K claim but he returns to familiar connections tonight and he did show more life last out. (5) DREAM OUT LOUD N is just 1 for 10 on the season but has been competitive in all efforts. (4) LUCAN HANOVER has loads of back class to call upon. Race 9 (3) TWIN B SPEEDO raced okay from no-chance spots in his last two; gelding was a good second from an inside post three back. (5) THEARTOFCONFUSION A was overmatched in the Levy and this is obviously a better spot but he sometimes needs some help and won't offer much value. (4) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING seems to race better with Stratton in the bike. Race 10 (3) KATCH KANNA needs to show a bit more late but he has great early speed which always sets him up with a good trip. (5) HIGH GLIDER should also be forwardly placed from this spot. (6) NEW HEAVEN has hit the ticket in his last six but has some speedy types inside of him. Race 11 (1) BETTING EXCHANGE is not the most reliable commodity at this level but he's raced pretty well since returning this season and lands in a favorable spot tonight. (5) SOME ATTITUDE couldn't reach last out at The Big M but his prior Saratoga efforts would suggest he'll fit well here. (6) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A gave it an aggressive try last week before tiring; consider at a price. Race 12 (3) DEMOCRACY N was wiped out last week; he had his moments prior to that with better than these. (2) ABNER THE GREAT is still trying to find the right class and he raced okay last week chasing a hot winner. (5) NATURAL LEDA takes a needed drop to a level where he's usually competitive.
