(2) DOUBLE YOUR BET has done nothing since being reclaimed by Robertson but he does plunge out of claimers tonight. (1) CLASSIC AMERICAN N is certainly the most logical from this spot but won't offer much value. Race 2 (3) MERRY HANVOER raced very well from way off the pace last out and the mare can build off that effort. (6) QUICK SUMMER hasn't won yet this year but she's been very consistent. (5) CELEBRITY APOLLO ships north from Florida and gets an impossible-to-ignore barn and driver change. Race 3 (1) DONAU was roughed up from post eight last week but didn't tire that badly; move all the way inside clearly makes him the one to beat. (3) MCERLEAN has just been racing evenly of late but the veteran is capable of stepping it up; include. (7) HIGHLAND TARTAN was game in defeat last week, has been sharp for multiple starts and will offer a good price. Race 4 (5) PRICELESSPOSSESION seems to have been facing better over at The Meadowlands with limited success; Abbatiello trainee looks like a good fit in this spot. (8) BARN SIS hails from Bartett/Banca and does have some early speed to get her into play. (3) CON AIR HALL qualified effectively for his 2018 debut but will he need a start or two? Race 5 (3) JAZZY IMAGE has raced well hitting the ticket in her last four and she looks as good as any in this competitive event. (2) DEUCES FOR CHARITY raced well last week to finish third off the Laterza reclaim and now she moves inside. (6) PERPLEXED faces softer in her second local seasonal start. Race 6 (2) DILLY DALI tripped out to win from an inside post two back then didn't fire last week from a tough spot; move back inside can make all the difference. (5) KAITLYN RAE could not sustain a two-move tough-trip effort last week for Stalbaum but she may be able to make the lead tonight. (6) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N was able to beat bottom-level claimers last out and the classy mare may have regained some confidence. Race 7 (2) ARCHERY actually raced very well last out at a big price in that added-distance event and he has a post edge here on his main competition. (4) SUCH AN ANGEL gets Dube in the bike tonight and should be tighter off last week's effort. (5) PINGALING hasn't done much of late but seems capable of better. Race 8 (1) R CAAN has been very sharp but that first seasonal win has still eluded him; not sure what kind of trip Dube is going to work out but the veteran does deserve top billing. (7) CARRACCI HANOVER was game in victory last out and the freelegged pacer may be firing from the gate. (9) SKY IS THE LIMIT has raced super for Dilloian and he reclaimed him last week. Race 9 (5) ANDY M was a sharp winner from an outside post three back then got stuck in a couple of tough spots; DiDomenico trainee may be a touch better than these. (4) NEW HEAVEN should be leaving the gate which can set him up for a live trip. (7) HIGH GLIDER has been razor sharp since shipping in for Marcus Melander but he faces tougher here while stuck outside. Race 10 (1) MR MATCH ON BEACH didn't miss by much last week at a big price and he's got speed with the best draw; gelding looks like one of many in with a live chance. (3) CHEYENNE SEEBER was second best to a 1/9 shot last out and he'll be close to the action again. (4) RAKSMACH N will surely attract attention at the windows like most of these imports do, but I suspect he'll be overbet. Race 11 (2) ARSENIC has been very sharp for a barn that's been clicking all season. (3) DOJEA SOLO fits with these and may be heading to the front. (1) RANCOUSY will likely also be aggressively handled from the outset to set up a live trip. Race 12 (3) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN gets much-needed post relief and the Tritton-trained veteran knows how to get the job done from spots such as this. (2) STENING A is another Down-under import for Team Stalbaum and he qualified nicely; ready for action.
