Best Bet: ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA (2nd) Spot Play: CAPOZZO (7th) MEET STATS: 63 - 190 / $371.80 BEST BETS: 8 - 16 / $29.10 Race 1 (2) ACE OF CLUBS returned from a long layoff in good form and was claimed last week by DiDomenico; he may be sharp enough to handle the bump in class. (1) BETTOR BELIEVE IT has raced well since shipping north from Florida. (3) FANCY FOOTWORK will never be too far back in this compact field and he can round out the ticket. Race 2 (5) ACEFORTYFOURAMANDA has been rock solid at this $12,500 claiming level and the move to the hot Lance Hudson can only help her. (1) BABY REMIND ME returns locally and has good speed with the best draw. (3) AREYOUREADYGIRL N had no chance last week but went down the road versus similar two back. Race 3 (3) CROMBIE A is really a bit of a crapshoot but he's right back in on consecutive weeks for his new connections, which can be viewed as a positive; worth a look if the price is right. (6) BRUNELLO N looks for two straight at this level. (1) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U gave way badly trying to make a second move last out but the veteran is better than that and seems capable of bouncing back. Race 4 (4) SET ME UP cruised on the front end in her last two and is certainly classy enough to take another. (6) BRONZE OVER N returns from a win at Freehold and was facing better when last seen here; only problem is the post. (2) FOXY DAME N raced better last week and can build off that effort. Race 5 (3) CAVIART SKYLER drops back to the NW10000 level and was a winner versus similar last month. (2) ABERDEEN HANOVER is probably the one to beat from this spot but doesn't seem to win as often as he should; tough to accept a short price. (5) MCCLINCHIE N raced well two and three back; Stratton drives again. Race 6 (3) SPORTSKEEPER dropped to this level last week, cut the mile and came up a bit short; another chance. (1) IDEAL COWBOY beat the top choice from the pocket and may set up with a similar trip again. (4) OH JONNY B GOOD N failed to fire last out at 3/5; we know he's better than that. Race 7 (1) CAPOZZO was super beating lesser last out and he may be sharp enough to handle the rise in class. (4) WINDS OF CHANGE is probably the one to beat but he's disappointed in the past and this barn has been rather flat. (3) CHUCARO ACERO BC is sometimes hard to gauge but he does fit better at this NW10000 level. Race 8 (3) FOILED AGAIN battled valiantly in defeat two back then was stuck behind the eight ball last out in his quest for win #100. With the move back to a more realistic spot and facing some suspect foes, tonight may be the night. (1) KEPT UNDER WRAPS A gets needed post relief and seems like the main threat. (7) THEARTOFCONFUSUION A figures to be tighter in his second seasonal start and he's a borderline Open commodity when he's good. Race 9 (1) SETTLEMOIR held very well after a long trip on the rin last week and he could be set up nicely from this spot with an alert getaway. (4) DEETZY qualified nicely up at Saratoga but he may need a start or two to get up to top form. (2) CHACHING HANOVER drops a notch and will be close to the pace. Race 10 (5) FAMEOUS WESTERN has been razor sharp in all recent and eventually that big brush he has will pay some dividends on the win end. (2) BLOOD BROTHER would normally be a cinch from this spot but he's hasn't been great and the Banca barn has been chilly.
