MEET STATS: 27 - 102 / $195.20

BEST BETS: 2 - 8 / $10.70

Best Bet: ARTHUR (2nd)

Spot Play: BUBBIE BOY (11th)

Race 1

(5) TRIPLE MAJOR was sitting in the pocket most of the way, but could not get past the top two in his latest; turnaround is in the cards. (3) BABINGA WOOD moves down in class and that should help his cause; we shall see. (7) SAKRA FELLA comes off a 4-hole trip throughout and mowed them down at a big price recently.

Race 2

(2) ARTHUR was odds-on last out. He led every step of the way, but in deep stretch he was nailed by Sakra Fella for top honors; major threat tonight. (6) AMERICAN CHAMP got the job done via the pocket route last time around. (7) COSMICPEDIA was second best in his last two trips; post hurts, but very capable.

Race 3

Since the move from Saratoga, (7) TOUCH THE ROCK has been very sharp at the Hilltop. It is good to see Brennan stay on board this gelding; gets the call. (2) RING WARRIOR was on the rim at the 3/4 pole and was pecking away towards the wire, but could not get to the winner last out. (5) WACO BRUISER needs to revert to his January 12th run to contend with these; seems logical.

Race 4

(1) LOVINEVERYMINUTE was late on the scene to grab place money in her latest. Now she moves to the rail slot and figures to take these down the road for all the glory. (5) CRUISINWITHMYBABY is clearly knocking at the door based on her last three tries. (2) DEPTH MORE DEPTH leaves the 8-hole for door number two; could have a say.

Race 5

(1) LOCAL ART put in a nice run for the fourth spot in her last start. If this mare receives a favorable trip, the top prize is well within her realm. (2) HUSTLEONHOME did not fire at all in her previous outing; needs a quick turnaround to contend. (3) JUST SAYIN has fine speed and Brennan keeps the faith; watch out.

Race 6

(5) HOOSIER CHATTER seems to be ready to put it all together. This looks like a perfect spot for her to get the job done. (2) THESLEAZYPRINCESS is a Delaware invader that led most of the way but could not keep going and had to settle for third money recently. (4) CLARA BEA tried to make a first over bid but was flat in the final stretch drive last out; better results expected.

Race 7

(8) QUICKSILVERCANDY is a 12-year-old miss that will be tested from the 8-hole.  She is capable of overcoming any trouble and if she gets a perfect spot early, there's a good chance she can greet the cameraman for pictures. (2) MISS ALI MACH N faced lesser last out and came like a shot to run them down. (6) DEREK DELIGHT is very speedy but I do not know what happened to her last time around; figures to rebound from her last flop.

Race 8

(8) GD AIRLINER was facing tougher in Chicago, but now this gelding returns to Yonkers where he has done his best running. He has the tactical speed to get a favorable position from the outside post and with some luck, he could score the upset. (1) ONTHECLOCK HANOVER is very consistent and now he moves to the fence and appears to be a serious threat for all the glory. (2) JACK ATTACK could make some noise given the move to the two slot; maybe.

Race 9

(3) LYONS SHADOW came first over on her way to an easy victory last time out. Mare appears to be in rare form so with a repeat effort, the rest will have to settle for minor honors. (2) I DO IT MYSELF closed down the center of the track to get the job done by a neck. (1) KIDDIE MCCARDLE is sharp and consistent. She fits quite well in this spot and the rail should put her right in the mix with these.

Race 10

(2) FITZS Z TAM was sharp off the claim last out to be second best. Nine-year-old figures to move forward and at his best, he can boss these. (4) MAGIC MANNY is another that has done well in his two starts since being claimed for the Allard barn; player. (5) A PLUS HANOVER could be a contender if he returns to his January 7th third-place finish; we shall see.

Race 11

(3) BUBBIE BOY was on the rim at the 3/4 pole and turning for home, but could not get past Hardts Or Bettor and Coach Cal. There's a good chance this gelding will turn the tables on most of these if given a favorable trip. (2) HARDTS OR BETTOR was sent down the road by Bartlett last time out; the one to fear and catch. (4) GALLANT SEELSTER has speed and gets class relief; not out of this by far.

Race 12

Let's see if (7) LA FIESTA can get back to her old self. There is plenty of early zip in here so with some luck, she could sweep these off their feet for all the marbles. (3) WANNA ROCK N ROLL closed late to miss the victory by only a length; threat. (4) SHES HEAVENLY moves back down in class; did not disgrace herself against better last out; don't overlook.
