Best Bet: SEASONED SAINT (9th) Spot Play: KATCH KANNA (5th) MEET STATS: 91 - 308 / $518.80 BEST BETS: 10 - 24 / $37.30 Race 1 In a very competitive six horse affair, (4) NF HAPPENSTANCE will surely be firing to the front and still seems sharp enough to take these the distance. (5) MONEY MAVEN came to life in a big way last week; capable of repeating. (6) IN SECRET was used up on the front end last out; he may be slightly off the pace today and he won in a similar style two back. Race 2 (1) HOME'N DRY is up in class off a win but he does draw best and is capable of stringing multiple solid efforts together. (4) ANDY RAY had too far to come last week but should be closer from this spot. (5) FOX VALLEY ILIAD is an obvious speed threat for Stalbaum. Race 3 Not sure who will be driving (2) PINGALING but he does face softer toady from a good post and deserves top billing. (3) BARN SIS has hit the ticket in her last two and should be forwardly placed. (1) KEYSTONE CHARGER raced pretty well to be second best upon shipping in from Freehold. Race 4 (4) NEW SHERIFF arrives from Ontario and joins the strong DiDomenico barn; again, look for a driver change announcement with Kakaley sidelined but despite that this gelding likes to win and looks like a good fit. (2) DONATO STAGEMAN ships from Freehold off some good efforts and gets a big change to Stratton. (3) SOMETHINGINTHENITE gets post relief and can be more involved. Race 5 (3) KATCH KANNA has looked very sharp in two runner-up efforts since arriving from Pompano and he may be good enough to compete with these. (4) SUMATRA has a class edge over many of these and must be included. (6) WATKINS is always a closing threat and the added-distance can help. Race 6 (2) NATHANIEL trotted okay from the eight hole in his local debut for new connections and now he lands a much better post in an open affair with some unproven types; worth a look at what should be a decent price. (4) JACK VERNON raced well in his seasonal debut for Team Miller; can he handle the added distance? (5) VATANNA faces better but looked good winning last out. Race 7 (1) ANOTHER CHAPTER had no realistic chance from the eight hole upon arrival but now he lands in a much better spot today and looks like a contender. (2) HIGH GLIDER couldn't last the duration last out but it was still a good effort. (4) SUCH AN ANGEL had a needed tightener last week at The Meadowlands and does have plenty of half-mile track experience. Race 8 (6) UVA HANOVER was a powerful winner at this level and this distance two back, which was his debut for new connections. No reason why he can't take this. (7) DEWYCOLORINTHELINE made his seasonal debut in a tough spot and never reached contention; he also gets class relief and is a borderline Open horse when good. (1) ARRIKIS has good speed and may hang around for a share. Race 9 (4) SEASONED SAINT broke before the start last out burning all the money but he was much the best the start prior and he only needs to stay trotting here. (3) MADMAN HALL raced evenly in his two seasonal starts and lands in a better spot today. (8) INUKCHUK CHUCK gets class relief and will be a big price; maybe for third? Race 10 (7) BROOKLYN BOND drops in class and was Stratton's choice despite the poor post; veteran seems capable of resuming winning ways. (5) GOLDEN TATE has been racing well enough up at Saratoga to suggest he'll fit well here in his local return. (2) DIZZY RIZZY drops back to the level of his last win. Race 11 (2) LIMERENCE lands a good spot in a pretty soft field and can get it done with some aggressive handling. (4) CANDY LANE seemed to qualify effectively enough and could be ready to go off the vacation. (1) J S JESSES GIRL was second best from the pocket last out and figures for a share from this spot. Race 12 (3) LIFE WELL LIVED was an upset winner three back, hit the ticket two back then rallied belatedly from an outside spot last out. He lands a better post today versus questionable rivals. (2) MUSCLESANDMARTINIS has been second best in his last three; obvious contender. (4) I'M DONE returns from Monticello and looks like the controlling speed.
