Best Bet: BROOKLYN BOND (6th) Spot Play: WICKED NICK (1st) MEET STATS: 66 - 204 / $386.70 BEST BETS: 9 - 17 / $35.00 Race 1 (5) WICKED NICK went a big effort in defeat at long odds off some ugly-looking lines and the Allard trainee can certainly build off that effort. (1) MUSCLESANDMARTINIS was a good second in his last two and now draws best. (6) BARN SIS has been good recently when coming from off the pace. Race 2 (7) MELADY'S MONET has now missed three weeks after last week's cancellation but I don't think that will hurt this classy veteran, who has been sharp in all recent. As long as he's not too far back he can score here. (4) IN SECRET showed in those two qualifiers he's ready for action. (8) NF HAPPENSTANCE is in career form for Jack Parker, Jr. and she's got the speed to overcome the outside post. Race 3 (4) KRONWALL has been in stellar form for Allard and he's proven he can handle the added distance. (2) COVERT OPERATIVE drops in class, lands a good post but has also missed some time off a sick scratch; use caution. (7) WILD SMILE also gets some class relief and could sneak into the number at a big price. Race 4 (4) SEASONED SAINT was second best behind a good winner last out and anything resembling that effort three back will be good enough to take this. (9) OPTIMIST BLUE CHIP failed miserably at 1/9 last time out and now missed three weeks; if you stay on board you will get a much better price today. (3) SUPER MANNING finally showed some life last out but is the speedster ready to go the added-distance? Race 5 (3) LUMINOSITY was very good at both ends last out then was in a winning spot when they cancelled; Burke trainee seems sharp enough to handle these. (5) LUCKY COLBY was good right off the bench for Garcia-Herrera. (4) HOME'N DRY is classy but just doesn't seem right recently. Race 6 (2) BROOKLYN BOND has been so sharp in his last three that the hike in class and added distance shouldn't matter. (1) GONNA FLY will likely look to protect early position and sit a stalking trip for a share. (6) PANAMANIAN HANOVER was a winner at this level and distance four back. Race 7 (4) WINNERESS moved into the Garcia-Herrera barn, added Lasix and seemed to go willingly at Freehold in his seasonal debut; he may be ready to tackle this questionable group. (6) HIGH GLIDER has looked good winning on the front end in his last two. (5) ACES AND EIGHTS clearly has ability but he broke in his last two local efforts; tough to play. Race 8 (4) ARCHERY was much-improved last out, finishing well at a big price. He looks like a live player in a field where it's hard to get excited about anybody. (7) WESTERN CREDIT was reclaimed by Allard last out and looks for two straight. (6) GABE THE BEAR DEAN fits here but is riding a long losing streak. Race 9 (5) ROCK OF CASHEL was second best to a sharp winner last out and despite being a bit camera-shy the veteran deserves top billing. (4) SUMATRA needed last week's start at Freehold coming back from vacation and the gelding does fit with this type. (1) TACO TUESDAY has the talent but is too erratic to endorse. Race 10 (2) STORMONT MANPOWER broke in his local debut but prior to that he had some decent Woodbine form; he draws well here in this blank field and Kakaley sticks. (4) MUZZY'S MUSCLES has been relatively consistent versus similar. (1) QUICK SUMMER has some speed and the best draw. Race 11 (1) ROMANCING RACHEL has been solid in her last two and clearly seems the one to beat from this spot. (7) SHORT TERM MEMORY did beat the top choice last out and looms large again. (8) PHAT STACKS closed with plenty last out at The Big M and has raced well at Yonkers in the past; clearly the only problem is the post. Race 12 (7) ALWAYS A GOOD TIME went a huge winning effort on the rim beating classy rivals last out and he could cap off a big day for the Allard barn. (8) ANDY M has won by open lengths in his last two; player despite the poor post. (6) STICK WITH ME KID needed last week's start and should be tighter this time around.
