(1) TOWNSLIGHT HANOVER is another classy vet but is coming off just a one-win season. (5) HEADFORTHEBEACH has leading driver Bartlett for top trainer Banca, who has been good in years past coming off the holiday break. Race 2 (2) CASH ME OUT raced well last week at the Meadowlands and has proven competitive with this type in the past; gelding should have a conditioning edge on most of these. (9) TIGHT LINES has been very sharp in his last two for Jeff Gregory. (8) MELADY'S MONET picked up right where he left off after his vacation, earning over $50K in his last five starts but he has to overcome an eight hole assignment here. Race 3 (5) EXPLOSIVE VICTORY flashed good speed and held decently last out at The Meadowlands and the mare seems to get along well with Napolotano; there are tactical options from this midpack spot. (3) YOOOUKILIS has raced well at Yonkers for these connections. (2) MASSACAIA hasn't done a whole lot recently but that was arguably against better and he lands a good post. Race 4 (1) I C CAVIAR has been solid at this basement claiming level despite the occasional miscue and he should be ready to roll from this spot. (9) SOUL TRAIN returns locally and has been good when dropped in with this kind. (3) TROPICAL TRICE will likely be forwardly placed with Cushing. Race 5 (5) DREAM MASSIVE has jogged in his three local starts and seems sharp enough to take another. (3) HYBRID HENRY made plenty of cash on the Maryland sire stakes scene and we'll see if the pacing-bred trotter can handle tougher. (7) ROMANCING RACHEL has been solid in two local starts for Allard and should be able to step up a notch. Race 6 (1) PINGALING stayed trotting last out with Kakaley and raced pretty well from a tough spot; DiDomenico trainee seems capable of more improvement. (11) MISSLAROSE lands a tricky starting spot but she's been good in her two starts since the Burke purchase. (5) AUTEUR HANOVER picks up Gingras, could show improvement. Race 7 (3) GRUDEN faces some more seasoned foes today but he's too sharp to ignore. (1) NO RECESS was hard used in an amateur event last week at The Meadowlands but now he picks up Brennan. (4) QUICK DEAL has stayed trotting recently which is certainly encouraging. Race 8 (4) IL MAGO didn't fire last out but his eight-hole try two back was good; veteran can be forwardly placed from this spot and work out a live trip. (5) RUN AND TELL PAP has come up a bit short in his two starts since moving to the Burke barn but he still merits respect. (3) NOBLE WARRAWEE does fit at this level and can be considered. Race 9 (1) DOG GONE LUCKY finally put it all together last out with a game win and the rail start with the shorter distance makes him the one to beat. (4) SPEED IT returns locally after crushing cheaper at Rosecroft and he's raced well here in the past. (3) KINETIC KING raced well in an amateur event last out and was Stratton's choice. Race 10 (2) PRIME POWER N has been behaving himself and he returns locally off a blowout win versus lesser; if he trots the duration he can beat these. (3) LILY'S SWAN POND lands a good enough post which will make the Surick trainee competitive here. (5) THERAPUTIC rallied well in his first start for Bamond. Race 11 (6) CADILLAC PHIL draws outside what he has to beat today but that should only help the price on this sharp Bance trainee. (4) CHEYENNE REIDER returns locally and should fit perfectly from this spot. (1) STYX IT TO EM N hasn't put in a bad race in ages and could be the one to beat but don't accept too shot of a price on him. Race 12 (2) DRUNKEN DESIRE A drops in for a tag after freshening nicely last week at Freehold and the veteran draws well; worth a play. (5) PIECE OF THE ROCK wasn't all that great in his last local start but he should go well here.
