MEET STATS: 262 - 736 / $1467.40     BEST BETS: 35 - 57 / $119.20

Best Bet: I FOUGHT DALAW (10th)

Race 1

(3) ERIDANUS N closed well two back from an inside post and he can be close enough to reach tonight; Stratton's choice of three. (4) STONEBRIDGE TONIC may have lasted on the front end last out but broke midstretch; he drops in class tonight. (1) OFFICERNAGENTLEMAN returns in a new barn and draws best; consider for a share from this spot.

Race 2

(3) SAINT WILLIAM A didn't take any money and didn't leave the gate last week; tonight from this spot Stalbaum should be more aggressive. (5) OUR CULLENSCROWN N drops in class, could awaken. (1) WAYNE THE LEFTY never wins, but he figures for a board spot.

Race 3

(3) MY SUGAR DADDY changes hands via claim and he's been reasonably sharp recently; to the front. (5) HACIENDA ships from Pennsylvania off some good efforts and he picks up Brennan. (6) OR is classy and can rally for a share.

Race 4

(4) FOUR CORNERS has found his stride in his last two. Gelding is up in class and has a couple of tough ones inside of him but the price should be right and he's worth a try. (3) KEEMOSABE stopped at Saratoga last out; prior effort was a sizzling speed win. (2) FOUR STARZ TRACE has been a steady earner all year.

Race 5

(2) ROLLWITHITHARRY was very big in defeat at 11-1 as my choice last week. He's up in class tonight but I'm sticking with him. (1) LASTINGART HANOVER was Sears' choice and he looms large from the rail. (3) DALLENBACH HANOVER never misses a check.

Race 6

(6) MICHAEL'S POWER was one of the top three year olds in North America last year. He's yet to make a big impression this season in limited races but he should find this type to his liking. (4) ESCAPE THE NEWS returns from his triumph in the Cup & Saucer and the Burke trainee will attract plenty of attention. (5) AMERICAN RAGE was last week's Open winner but this is a tougher spot tonight.

Race 7

(4) ALL SPEED HANOVER has finally found his stride after the long layoff and I think he's sharp enough to handle the rise in class. (3) IDEAL CHAMP was no match for Eighteen last week at 1/9; still rates highly here. (2) K SLATER should appreciate the post relief tonight.

Race 8

(2) TOBAGO CAYS was rock-solid in disposing of lesser last week; veteran usually strings good efforts together. (3) KINGS LEGEND rallied belatedly at this level last out; slight post improvement can help. (1) ELECTRIC SHOOTER closed a ton last out to win going away.

Race 9

(7) E Z NOAH as been dead-game in defeat in his last two, both tough-luck efforts. Four-year-old appears overdue. (3) FAT MANS ALLEY gets much-needed post relief and he'll be more involved. (2) FLIPPER J tired after being hard used in last; he can save ground tonight.

Race 10

(1) I FOUGHT DALAW went wire-to-wire as the heavy chalk two back when at this level. A return to that effort should make him victorious tonight. (2) DREAM OUT LOUD N gets much-needed post relief. (3) NOB HILL HIGH woke up with a better effort last out.

Race 11

(5) CHICAGO HANOVER has been super since the barn change to Lambert and he may be a halfway decent price here. (3) SILENT SWING found his stride out of town; a win here puts him over 2 million lifetime. (2) MODERN DAY CLYDE weakened to third last week; he figures as highly tonight.

Race 12

(2) HEMERS CARD SHARK has had no chance in his last several efforts; he gets post relief and the services of Sears tonight. (3) BUSTA MOVE didn't fire in the Open at Saratoga; he was an easy winner two back. (1) BUBBIE BOY is sent out from live connections and he draws best.
