Email

MEET STATS: 245 - 685 / $1365.30      BEST BETS: 35 - 55 / $119.20

Best Bet: MALAK USWAAD N (6th)

Spot Play: TIDEWATER TEDDY (2nd)

Race 1

(1) TALKTOMECOURAGE N has raced well in his two starts for DiDomenico and having drawn the rail tonight he looms the one to beat. (7) ALL SPEED HANOVER has plenty of class and he's a threat despite the poor post. (5) LISTOWEL was okay in defeat last week, but there's nothing here to justify his low morning line.

Race 2

(4) TIDEWATER TEDDY drops in class, gets post relief and picks up Brennan in the bike; there's lots to like here. Don't expect 8/1, however. (5) AUSSIE REACTOR A also drops in class and he's beaten better than these in the past. (6) THE POKESTER drops out of claimers and could be a closing threat.

Race 3

(2) UPFRONT ELLIJAY ED gets some post relief and finds a soft division of NW12000; maybe. (1) HARE CRAFT was good upon arrival and he appears to be the likely favorite here. (3) SAND BENELLI can usually be counted on for a share from inside posts.

Race 4

(6) E Z NOAH was gunned down late after a solid two-move try last week; he goes second-time Lasix tonight and could be a decent price. (3) CONNERY BLUE CHIP should be forwardly placed early with Brennan in the bike. (1) ROADWAY flattened late last out, but it was an improved effort.

Race 5

(4) BUSTA MOVE raced well up at Saratoga in his first start for a new barn; he ships back locally and finds a soft field. (6) LUCKY MCTRUCKY drops a notch and has good gate speed. (1) ROCKSTAR TEMPER draws best again but he collapsed last week on the front end.

Race 6

(2) MALAK USWAAD N had no chance last week from post seven. He lands inside tonight with the open draw and all previous efforts have been super. Hard to overlook from this spot. (5) STATESMAN N was last week's winner and he looks for three straight. (1) CHINA GRILL has been super since arriving from Quebec but he gets tested for class tonight.

Race 7

(8) HUGADRAGON was big in defeat in that wild Meadowlands finale; Burke trainee has the speed to overcome the outside post. (1) I FOUGHT DALAW drops, draws best and will be a big threat from this spot. (3) MACHAL JACKSON should fit with these and appears capable of landing a share.

Race 8

(1) LIVE ON was nailed by an airborne rival after an aggressive try last week; he should be sharp tonight bouncing back from that tough-luck effort. (4) EIGHTEEN usually gives a good effort but he needs a favorable trip. (5) KINGS LEGEND has been super off the claim; let's see how he stacks up class-wise versus these.

Race 9

(4) CLASSIC ROCK NROLL was held at bay by the well-rated winner last week; gelding has class to him and he could surprise in this wide-open event. (1) PAPA RAY raced well but had too much ground to cover last out; he looms the favorite tonight. (5) HOLDINGALLTHECARDS raced evenly last week; could be a closing threat with a live trip.

Race 10

(3) ELECTRIC OUI woke up two back with a wire-to-wire effort then wasn't really used last week; veteran may have a clear path to the lead tonight. (2) STONEBRIDGE TONIC finished steadily in his debut for Ford; inside post makes him a threat here. (7) BESTNOTLIE HANOVER would be the pick if he had an inside post.

Race 11

(1) ROCK TO GLORY closed a ton last week after it appeared he had too far to come; I'll admit I didn't like the 40K claim four back but it may turn out to be a steal. (3) SAMANDAR just missed in his last two; he's clearly knocking on the door. (6) ONE THOUGH TEN ships in and the four-year-old picks up Brennan.

Race 12

(6) ESPEN DE VIE has raced well in his last three and he could be considered here, despite the outside post. There's not much in here to get excited about. (4) ELECTRIC SHOOTER has closed well in most recent efforts and he usually provides a price. (5) RECENT NEWS was a very speedy winner when last seen here.

Race 13

(4) ERLE DALE N ships in from the big track, where he had been pretty competitive; he never really fired in his local appearance in June, but that was against better. (1) NOB HILL HIGH is always better with an inside post but he was kind of disappointing last week. (2) MYSTERIOUS MOMENT has closed with a purpose in his last three.
