Race 1

(2) REPORT FOR DUTY N drops out of claimers and finds a pretty soft NW12000 field; veteran would be no surprise here. Race 2

(2) SHORTSTACKED was facing tougher from outside posts in his last four. Toss those efforts and this veteran looms large tonight. (5) SOUTHERN ALLIE raced well enough in his debut for new connections to be considered here. (4) P H JACKPOT is better than last week's effort.

Race 3

(2) WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP is back down in class and he can be a speed threat from this inside post. (1) ROCKSTAR TEMPER was game in defeat last out. (5) ELECTRIC OUI woke up with a winning effort last week. If he remains sharp, watch out!

Race 4

(3) ROCKIN ROBERT moves back inside for a barn that may be awakening; worth a look from this spot. (4) LIFE UP FRONT keeps Brennan; I bet we see speed off the gate tonight. (6) ROCK ON MOE was going nowhere in his local return; Sears drives tonight.

Race 5

(4) E Z NOAH participated in the Levy when last seen locally and he could be heading to the front tonight. (6) CHEYENNE REIDER debuts for the Burke barn; improves? (3) VODKA IS TERROR returns with an inside post and he's capable with these.

Race 6

(1) STATESMAN N finds a very fortunate spot in tonight's feature and there's no reason to think he won't strike off a live trip. (6) CLEAR VISION was very game in defeat last week. (5) SAPPHIRE CITY was a perfect trip-sitting winner last week; he's capable from this spot but it should be tougher tonight.

Race 7

(3) DOMETHATAGAIN is a perfect fit at this winners-over level and Holland sticks with him over Mel Mara; versatile sort can score from this spot. (2) VILLAGE BEAT was overmatched versus Open types; this is a better spot. (1) MEL MARA brushed and crushed last week, which makes him an obvious threat here.

Race 8

(5) CHINA GRILL faces tougher tonight but he's been hard to fault since arriving; sharp sort can take another. (2) I FOUGHT DALAW had no chance in his last two; he's back inside tonight and will be more involved. (7) PONTIAC LUCK was the ultimate pocket-rocket last out; seven hole probably seals his fate tonight but he still merits a mention.

Race 9

(1) PANCETTA was an easy winner three back from the best post; having drawn back inside this four-year-old deserves top billing. (3) MONTREAL PHIL raced well last week, but keep in mind he was run over from behind. (7) HOLDINGALLTHECARDS took on wicked pressure when he cut the mile in last week's Open; he could be a closing threat tonight.

Race 10

(4) RAFFERTY HANOVER wilted late and was run down by two classier rivals; this is a slightly softer spot  and he's capable of rebounding. (2) JACKED UP picks up Sears tonight and draws well. (1) FLEM N EM N had no visible excuse last week.

Race 11

(2) FOREIGN OFFICER is better than last week's effort, where he gave way badly from the pocket. I'm giving him another chance tonight. (2) NOBLE FALCON is back inside and will be move involved. (4) LETTUCEROCKU A also gets post relief off last week's no-chance effort.

Race 12

(5) NOB HILL HIGH lands a midpack post, which may be close enough for this classy veteran to reach. (1) KINGS LEGEND double-jumps in class off a sharp pocket-pulling score. (3) MYSTERIOUS MOMENT has been deceptively sharp recently for Lachance.

Race 13

(1) CLASSIC ROCK NROLL prevailed gamely last week after being aggressively handled; he's up in class tonight but he's done well with this type in the past. (2) CODE WORD got parked out again last week; shouldn't be a problem from the inside spot. (7) SIR MELO'S Z TAM was locked in and shook free too late last week; he's always a closing threat.
