MEET STATS: 192 - 580 / $896.50

Best Bet: STONEBRIDGE TONIC (10th)      Spot Play: POWER OF A MOMENT (11th)

Race 1

(1) FOUR TRUMPS A lands back inside and he can get well against this group. (4) MCCEDES is one of about a million classy Ron Burke trainees and he looks well spotted at this level. (2) MACRAIDER N came up a bit short in his debut for the Buter barn.

Race 2

(4) P H JACKPOT had a tough go of it last out, but he didn't tire that badly; Stalbaum's choice of three looms a big threat from this midpack post. (2) GREYSTONE CASH hasn't done much recently, but at least he gets post relief tonight. (6) CRACKER PULLET ships in and has plenty of gate speed.

Race 3

(3) SECLUDED ISLAND looked good disposing of lesser; veteran is sharp and he's beaten this type in the past. (2) DIABLO SEELSTER went nowhere on the rim in his local return; he should be much more involved tonight. (3) DOUBLESHOTASCOTCH gets post relief for his local return and he's got some class to him.

Race 4

(1) GODDESSS JUSTIN finished with plenty of pace last week but had too far to come; MacDonald should work out a perfect trip tonight. (2) ALFREDSSON is back at the level of his recent dominant win. (3) DVCFLYINGFRENCHMAN has been hard to fault of late.

Race 5

(1) WESTERN CHURCHILL loomed for more before he bobbled last week; Burke charge draws best here and looms the one to beat. (4) SFUMATO has been super recently and he may be a nice price despite looking for three in a row. (2) ROCKIN GLASS ships in from Pocono with a nice looking resume.

Race 6

(5) SAPPHIRE CITY couldn't overcome the eight hole last week; he should be able to reach tonight from the midpack post. (4) WHOGOESFIRST has been sharp in all of his recent starts for the Case barn. (8) RAZZLE DAZZLE has been facing better recently with limited success; I think he's capable of overcoming the outside post on his best day.

Race 7

(2) NOB HILL HIGH regained some confidence when he disposed of lesser; we all know he'll be competitive here with the rise in class. (4) JACKED UP looked very sharp pouncing from the pocket last week. (1) ONE MORE LAUGH held well for second after a big speed try; Lachance drives tonight.

Race 8

(6) LISTOWEL never got underway last week; four-year-old seems to still be in career form and he deserves another look. (4) HYPNOTIST can sit a rail trip here, and if he can shake free he can close fast. (2) URGENT ACTION was game last week in beating lesser.

Race 9

(5) RIVER SHARK had no real excuse to fail last week and he certainly has no excuse tonight. (3) SAINT WILLIAM A is always competitive at this level. (1) EUROPAN UNION returns locally and he had some success here last year.

Race 10

(4) STONEBRIDGE TONIC was a solid two-move second best from the eight hole last week and he looms the one to beat based on that effort. (1) SAMANDAR always races well from inside posts. (3) LOLAS CRUISER can be more involved from this spot.

Race 11

(2) POWER OF A MOMENT was a decent second two back from this post; although he's at a higher level tonight he faces no standouts here. (3) FORIEGN OFFICER showed what he's capable of with a wire-to-win last week. (6) SEA VENTURE gets some needed class relief.

Race 12

(7) FLIPPER J may need a bit of help from this spot but he appears capable with a live trip. (4) VIPER HANOVER ships in sharp and was Bartlett's choice over the Burke trainee. (8) BET THE TOWN wouldn't surprise me if he blasted from the gate.
