Yonkers: Saturday 6/14 Analysis

MEET STATS: 170 - 504 / $896.30  BEST BETS: 30 - 41 / $99.70

Best Bet: DOCTOR BUTCH (11th)

Race 1

(4) BIG N BAD has gotten roughed up in his two local appearances. Tonight he drops in class again and deserves another look. (3) TRACK MASTER D returns locally after bravening up at The Meadowlands. (6) SON OF FERGIE A is one of three new Vallee imports on tonight's card that need to be followed. This gelding won his qualifier at Philly.

Race 2

(2) ALITTLEAINTENOUGH shipped in, joined a new barn and raced well upon arrival; further improvement can be expected tonight. (7) REPORT FOR DUTY N always gives 100% but can't seem to break through to the win column. (5) COLONIAL ROAD is back in for a tag and has some back class to call upon.

Race 3

(1) TALKING BLUES didn't race badly when last seen here and from the rail slot the gelding gets a very weak vote. (3) RAMPAGE JACKSON ships in from Chicago and picks up Brennan; he'll get some curiosity money from this spot. (4) DULL ROAR has raced well to hit the ticket in his last couple of local efforts.

Race 4

(1) SILENT SWING faltered on the front end last out after setting a pressured pace; maybe the brief vacation will suit this oldtimer well. (4) TOBAGO CAYS prevailed after setting a wicked pace versus lesser; he's got plenty of back class. (3) HILARIOUS HALO returns locally after an eye-popping effort at The Meadowlands but he was nothing much when he was here.

Race 5

(3) MACHAL JACKSON gets some needed post relief tonight, Goodell returns and I would expect an aggressive effort. (1) MORTAL ZIN drops in class, draws best and is clearly a player from this spot. (4) ONE THROUGH TEN returns locally for McDermott and he should be capable with these.

Race 6

(2) STATESMAN N may have tailed off a bit in his last few efforts but he's more than capable versus these and he's got a live chance to grind down the speed. (3) ARACACHE HANOVER returns locally for Burke looking for three in a row but he's burned plenty of money here in the past. (4) CONNERY BLUE CHIP has proven to be a solid money-earner for Garcia-Herrera.

Race 7

(2) SAFE HARBOR was a winner at this level three back from an inside post and the veteran is a proven commodity with these. (3) RU READY TO ROCK also has been competitive with this type and he just missed last out at Pocono. (5) MR HASANI N should be forwardly placed again tonight.

Race 8

(4) TAKE IT BACK TERRY has won three of his last four locally and he faces a Preferred field here with no standouts. (3) MALAK USWAAD N raced willingly in his last two versus some decent stock down at Harrington and he's more than proven himself versus this type. (2) CHINA GRILL is up in class off two solid scores.

Race 9

(3) ATLAS ALLIANCE N has raced well in practically off of his local efforts. Down-under import picks up Gregory in the bike tonight and seems capable with a live trip. (1) ADDWATER put in a solid closing effort last out and now he draws best; threat. (4) COLE HEAT tailed off a touch facing better but this overachieving gelding gets some class relief.

Race 10

(4) LETTUCEROCKU A hasn't looked particularly good in his last couple but he's got the ability and this isn't a strong group. (1) ART OF TEMPTATION lacks the class of others but he draws best and has Brennan driving. (6) LAWGIVER HANOVER is arguably best but it's tough to take any sort of short price on him.

Race 11

(1) DOCTOR BUTCH finally lands in a good spot and there should be no excuses accepted tonight. (6) GREAT VINTAGE didn't fire last out but his prior efforts were solid. (2) MONTREAL PHIL bumps up off a win and the Lachance barn has been going well.

Race 12

(3) PANCETTA could not reach from post eight last out; Brennan will take control from this spot. (2) CHARGER BLUE CHIP seems to have developed into a legitimate racehorse and he's got a shot from this inside post. (5) BUBBIE BOY could be a closing threat to reach the bottom of the ticket.
