Yonkers: Saturday 5/26 Analysis

MEET STATS: 143 - 411 / $677.30

Best Bet: HIGH OCTANE N (1st)     Spot Play: LETS GO BLUE (3rd)

Race 1

(2) HIGH OCTANE N only needs to be handled aggressively to jog from this spot. (6) CASH CAB looked very impressive beating cheaper in his debut for the Buter barn. (1) DOUBLESHOTASCOTCH draws best and can linger around for a share.

Race 2

(8) MACRAIDER N drops in class and will probably have a clear shot to the front with Brennan driving. (5) CANACO RUN has some class to him and he fits at this level. (4) SAILING CRUISE hasn't been at his best recently but he should be a threat with these.

Race 3

(2) LETS GO BLUE looked so good winning his last that he deserves consideration versus this better field. (1) MIAS BOLD MANEUVER has plenty of speed and the rail to boot. (3) MR EXCELLENT saved ground last week and finished mildly; perhaps he's in line for a similar trip tonight.

Race 4

(3) DALLENBACH HANOVER should be close up and he can potentially rally from just off the pace. (2) ELECTRIC OUI gets needed class and post relief and he may be cutting the mile tonight. (1) DIGITAL Z TAM draws best and figures on a share here.

Race 5

(5) DAN CHAZ was super in defeat last week and he deserves top billing off that effort. (6) ALLAMERICAN INCA is a classy veteran and the Croghan barn has been showing some life. (4) MCGREAT gets some needed class relief.

Race 6

(4) NOB HILL HIGH finished with pace last week but was too far back to threaten; veteran has been solid all year and he should be a bigger threat with the post relief. (8) REAL NICE returns to his favored venue after collapsing on the front end at Pocono. (5) SEA VENTURE has evolved into solid top-class stock for Lou Pena.

Race 7

(1) SAINT WILLIAM A won as the favorite two back from this post and this class. (2) WAYNE THE LEFTY gets some post relief and Brennan picks up the drive. (4) ROCK TO GLORY was facing Levy stock when last seen here.

Race 8

(1) MOJO TERROR looks like he has come back for his four-year-old campaign ready to roll; Goodell will have him on the lead or in the pocket from this spot. (4) POKER HAT may have a clear shot to the lead tonight, which makes him a serious threat. (2) TOBAGO CAYS has found his best stride recently.

Race 9

(1) FROGGY TURNER gets a very favorable draw again and he's clearly the one to beat. (3) GODDESS'S JUSTIN looks for four straight; tough to ignore. (2) ESPRIT DE KAYJAY N knows his way around this track.

Race 10

(2) SPY N drops in class and he's gutsy enough to grind out a victory. (4) NY ICE jogged at this level last week; obviously a repeat performance is likely. (1) FOX VALLEY TYRESE hasn't seen this good a post in ages.

Race 11

(8) CIGAR HALL has finally made me a believer with a series of rugged efforts; Casie Coleman trainee has the gate speed to overcome the poor post. (1) REAL HERO has been a good earner in his five starts since the Fraley claim. (5) GREYSTONE CASH should be more involved with the improved post.

Race 12

(5) FOUR TRUMPS A has remained reasonably sharp but he's been in against some tough ones; the class relief should make a big difference tonight. (1) HICKORY HORACE gets serious post relief which makes him an obvious threat. (2) ART TWO D TWO woke up with a nice effort in defeat last week.
