Email

MEET STATS: 175 - 512 / $901.80  BEST BETS: 23 - 43 / $86.00

Best Bet: MISSILE J (4th)

Spot Play: RONNY BUGATTI (10th)

Race 1

(7) ROCK ON MOE is stuck with another outside post but on his best day he's better than these and Dube could try to have him forwardly placed. (2) SNAP TO IT A is up in class looking for two straight and he draws well. (4) ROCK ICON showed improvement last week when dropped in class but Bartlett opted off.

Race 2

(4) MONROE COUNTY gutted out a win last week over two good rivals and the mare may be sharp enough to repeat. (1) CASH ME OUT returns locally and was a winner when last seen here. (5) DOT DOT DOT DASH is a quality mare but she's an off-the-pace commodity and may need some help from this spot.

Race 3

(6) MAXI BON has proven to have one huge burst of speed but it just needs to be timed right. (1) TRACK MASTER D got stuck behind a tired one last week and lost his best chance; prior effort was sharp. (5) HEEZ ORL BLACK N returns to Sears. (7) FIRST CLASS HORSE lands in a new barn and should be followed.

Race 4

(1) MISSILE J is lightly raced but very talented and he lands a nice inside spot for his half-mile debut; as long as he behaves himself the Toscano trainee should control these. (5) AUTOTUNE HANOVER had a nice 2-year-old season, including winning the Sheppard here last summer. (1A) ARTMAGIC needed that first start and he completes a pretty strong mutuel entry. (4) TAP INTO POWER should be ready to go off three decent qualifiers.

Race 5

(1) FREESPIN N faces some tough ones looking for two straight but he may have a tactical edge having drawn the best post. (2) GALACTIC GALLEON N is hit-or-miss but he was much better last week. (7) THE REAL ONE is much better than he's been showing; nobody would be surprised if he woke up with a big effort. (8) TEXAS TERROR N is another good one who may be done in by the bad post.

Race 6

(7) BEE A MAGICIAN finds her way back to Yonkers for an overnight event and the champion mare should have no problem handling these despite the outside post assignment. (5) MAJOR ATHENS has a post edge on nemesis (6) LUMINOSITY and should get the jump on that one. The latter ran well last week but was collared by a razor-sharp Obrigado.

Race 7

(7) BIT OF A LEGEND N had his win streak snapped last out at Pocono where he was in a tough spot. Tritton trainee is back at his favorite venue and is reunited with Stratton; I gotta stay on board. (4) GREAT VINTAGE was last week's Open winner and he remains razor-sharp for Takter. (1) HALL BRO was very good in three local starts last month.

Race 8

(3) KEYSTONE HONOR has raced very well in his last two versus slightly lesser and the Laterza trainee may be sharp enough to take this; Bartlett picks up the drive tonight. (1) MACINTOSH N has done little wrong for Vallee recently while moving up the class ladder. (4) TWIN B IMPRESSIVE gets some post relief and can be considered underneath. (5) SAFE HARBOR was Dube's choice and merits a mention.

Race 9

(4) MCERLEAN was crushed at the windows last week then was used too hard and faltered; give him another chance. (5) THESEYESRCRYING went down the road last out and can be forwardly placed again. (7) GIVENUPDREAMING has a poor post but some early speed to compensate. (2) PANCETTA returns after a long layoff and he'll need some races to reach top form; keep him in mind down the road.

Race 10

(3) RONNY BUGATTI gets needed post relief and he's always competitive when drawn inside. (1) SOMEWHERE IN L A wasn't bad last week and he'll likely be the favorite and the one to beat. (4) FLEM N EM N didn't fire in that quick mile last out; prior form was good.

Race 11

(3) PHIL YOUR BOOTS was a preferred play last week but never fired with his best; I'm giving him one more chance. (7) E Z NOAH is a speed threat even from the outside post. (6) CLINT WESTWOOD has been in good form all season.

Race 12

(4) LUCAN HANOVER was outfinished in the late stages last week chasing a fast mile; if left alone on the front end this week he can go the distance. (1) DOCTOR BUTCH returns locally, draws best and is clearly the main threat. (3) CYCLONE KIWI N has been very sharp but he runs into two tough ones tonight.
