Best Bet: WESTERN DYNASTY (3rd) Spot Play: PASS LINE BLUECHIP (5th) MEET STATS: 188 - 592 / $1,058.10 BEST BETS: 28 - 48 / $96.90 Race 1 (3) ABNER THE GREAT may not be proven at this $40,000 claiming level but he was a decent second last week after escaping traffic; note Brian Sears in the bike tonight with regular driver Joe Bongiorno listed out of town. (2) ONE THROUGH TEN is back at the level where he won his last two and we all know he'll be trying to take this field wire-to-wire. (4) BEYONDTHESILENCE N has raced very well in his last two for Tritton and now he gets an improved post. Race 2 (5) MCERLEAN woke up in a big way with a blowout mile versus lesser but the veteran has the back class to handle this type; obviously Holland is sticking with him. (1) MACON GEORGIA A had no chance last week but clearly the move all the way inside helps his cause. (3) LUCIANO N was no match from the pocket last week while second best and he should be forwardly placed again from this spot. Race 3 (3) WESTERN DYNASTY was very sharp last week just missing off the brief vacation and I assume the Banca trainee will be able to handle these. (2) MACHTU N has been going pretty well recently and can certainly be considered. (5) LUCAN HANOVER gave way under last pressure last out; speed threat again? Race 4 (6) PACING MAJOR N comes into this race off back-to-back bruising uncovered efforts; he moves outside tonight but seems good enough to take another. (4) BELL I NO was shuffled last week in the Open; prior efforts were very sharp. (5) CHEVALS CLIVESDALE is another horse in raging form who cannot be ignored. Race 5 (4) PASS LINE BLUECHIP went a huge eight-hole effort to be second best last week in the Reynolds and the filly can be a big threat here with the decent midpack starting spot. (1) PYTHON BLUE CLIP went a solid pace in the slop before tiring in her seasonal debut and the Burke trainee can be tighter tonight. (6) CHECKERED PAST jogged last week in a soft field; still the sharp sort should be a player here from her second-tier starting spot. Race 6 (3) DECOY raced well enough to win in his local debut last week but the sharp winner got the jump on him; tough to bet him here at what will be a very short price in this Rooney elimination but the Takter trainee should come out on top. (1) JIMTASTIC figures to be tighter in his second seasonal start. (2) MAJOR AUTHORITY jogged versus much lesser two back and followed that up with a good try at The Meadowlands. Race 7 (7) EVENIN OF PLEASURE tucked, brushed and crushed last week and deserves a follow-up play off that effort despite starting from the worst post; price should be ok. (6) BIT OF A LEGEND N makes his first start since the Levy final and the Tritton trainee is best here, but will the missed time be a concern? (2) KILLER MARTINI never got involved last week but he lands a good starting spot and returns to Bartlett. Race 8 (3) SPRINGSTEEN looks ready to go off those two qualifiers and certainly has the reputation coming into this race; short price looming. (1) TRUMP NATION was a good second last week to the highly regarded Wes Delight. (4) BABES DIG ME has looked like he's come back strong starting his 3-year-old campaign. Race 9 (1) BULLET BOB has had little to offer in his last two versus better but he takes a needed drop in class tonight and can be very stubborn if left alone on the front end. (3) SOHO WALLSTREET A returns to Yonkers in raging form going for three straight. (5) BEYOND DELIGHT has been in with some tough ones across the river and note he has a 1:51 4/5 mile here already this year. Race 10 (2) MISTER DAYTONA N faces no killers here going for three straight and getting Stratton in the bike certainly won't hurt. (1) WE THINK ALIKE had no chance last week upon hiking to this level but obviously the move inside helps his cause. (6) MR HAM SANDWICH recently moved into the Allard via private purchase and was aggressively handled up at Saratoga in a losing effort; consider here for a share and definitely in future starts.
