Yonkers: Saturday 5/18 Analysis

MEET STATS: 142 - 394 / $832.10    BEST BETS: 22 - 32 / $69.70

Best Bet: EIGHTEEN (7th)

Spot Play: MONTREAL PHIL (12th)

Race 1

(2) MACRAIDER N has quite a history here; the drop in class and the post relief should get this veteran over the top. Speaking of veterans, ageless wonder (1) FOREST VIC A is still a solid contender and he'll be live from the rail. (5) SAMANDAR seems to be hitting his stride again.

Race 2

(1) ROCKIN ROBERT finds a pretty soft spot here and he's the deserving favorite. (2) ART FOR ARTS SAKE ships back locally and draws well enough. (3) UPFRONT ELLIJAY ED can be counted on for a small share.

Race 3

(3) TIREMAN was picking up minor checks in the top class at Saratoga; veteran knows his way around this track and the Rohr barn seems to be going well now. (2) P H JACKPOT was a sick scratch last week; obvious threat if he's ready. (4) MALICIOUS has been racing much better of late.

Race 4

(3) UNICORN HANOVER has finished with willing pace in his last two local appearances; this is a suspect field of NW12000 types and he wouldn't be a total shock. (6) ELECTRIC SHOOTER keeps Brennan but he may need some help from this spot. (1) Q ROCK was victorious in his local return versus lesser and he draws best again; Sears drives.

Race 5

(3) WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP hasn't been bad in recent efforts; twelve-time winner from 2012 is still looking for glory this year. Bartlett should be forwardly placed here. (1) MR COOLIE drops, has speed, the rail and Sears in the bike. (2) COLONIAL ROAD gets needed post relief and he's been good since returning locally.

Race 6

(2) AMERICAN RAGE has been rock-solid since joining the O'Sullivan barn. He could be a force from this cozy inside assignment. (8) ANNIESWESTERNCARD is probably best but the eight hole could present a problem. (1) PAN FROM NANTUCKET was a upset winner two back and he can be heard from departing from the rail.

Race 7

(1) EIGHTEEN always gets brave when he's drawn inside and is on the lead; down the road. (5) LIFE UP FRONT dominated cheaper last week; he's sharp now. (4) REAL FLIGHT is always a steady earner.

Race 8

(7) WHACKAMOLE HANOVER lingered at the rear and finished with pace from too far back last week; veteran is sharp and needs to leave for his best chance to win. (1) FOREIGN OFFICER has speed and the rail; should be in line for a live trip. (4) CLEAR VISION is solid stock from Burke.

Race 9

(5) SEA VENTURE has found his stride in his last two and he could take this despite another rise in class. (3) FRIDAYNIGHTFLIGHT had no real excuse last week but he does drop in class and he draws well again. (1) MEANT TO BE ME draws best in his local return.

Race 10

(2) NOB HILL HIGH gets some class relief and usually races as well as he draws; veteran can get it done from this spot. (4) URGENT ACTION raced well when last seen here; Brennan's choice over both the Garcia-Herrera and Burke trainees says a lot. (3) HOLDINGALLTHECARDS exits a fast mile at The Meadowlands.

Race 11

(1) LISTOWEL raced evenly on the rim last week and landed a small share; improving gelding should work out a live trip tonight. (3) WINDSONG HARLEY ships in for Burke off a solid score at Pocono. (2) JACKED UP can always be counted on for a share from inside posts.

Race 12

(4) MONTREAL PHIL closed with plenty of pace from a tough spot last week; Lachance trianee should be able to reach from this spot. (1) ELECTRIC OUI was bottomed out last week; veteran gets another crack from the rail. (2) SAFE HARBOR gets needed post relief.
