Best Bet: MACH IT SO (9th)

Spot Play: KIWI IDEAL N (4th)

Race 1

(2) SOHO LENNON A was very impressive in his first U.S. start and he's expected to repeat here. (3) DUEL IN THE SUN gets needed class and post relief; classy veteran should be aggressively handled early. (1) EXIT CAM will never be far back from this spot.

Race 2

(2) ROYAL HEART plunges from the Levy series where he certainly didn't race badly and prior to that he was competitive with one notch higher; Kakaley should drive him like he's best. (1) MAKE SOME LUCK was a good second for Allard upon shipping from Canada. (5) WESTERN ROCKSTAR is another exiting the Levy, where he was a tad overmatched.

Race 3

(3) MATTAMERICAN was used hard and proved pretty stubborn late; I expect him to go down the road from this spot. (4) ROCK TO GLORY tried leaving but broke last week as the favorite; if you want to follow up on him you're getting 15/1 on the morning line. (1) ALLSTAR PARTNER is not a prolific winner but he merits consideration from this spot.

Race 4

(1) KIWI IDEAL N was a bit better last week though he still was outkicked; this looks like the softest spot he's seen in some time and the veteran deserves top billing. (4) TYLER seems better than he's been showing and those qualifiers two and three back were good; Gingras drives. (2) JOURNEYMAN was pretty game for second behind a runaway winner last out.

Race 5

(4) MONROE COUNTY was going well late in a good flow to grab third last week; mare seems capable from this spot with another live trip. (7) LUMINOSITY figures to be forwardly placed again but he's been lacking the finishing power recently. (6) DOT DOT DOT DASH powered by for the upset last week and she'll be rallying from off the pace again. This is a tough race to figure.

Race 6

(3) TAKE IT BACK TERRY goes about his business week in and week out. Underappreciated Burke trainee should take another at odds-on. (5) PHIL YOUR BOOTS was very game in defeat last week when he was run over by Bit Of A Legend N; he's at a tactical disadvantage from this spot but still has to be considered. (4) IDEAL COWBOY had no chance last week; the post relief gives him a shot.

Race 7

(1) WIGGLE IT JIGGLEIT paced an insane back half and was super to even get as close as he did last week; all eyes will be on him tonight as he goes coast to coast and pays $2.30. (2) ALL BETS OFF got the jump on the top choice last out and was able to back down the pace to his advantage; tonight he'll be chasing and is likely to complete the chalky exacta. (4) P H SUPERCAM gave way after an aggressive two-move effort last week; clearly he's good enough to land a share here but I don't think he can crack the top two.

Race 8

(6) BIT OF A LEGEND N is adding to his legend after his improbable win last week when he knifed through from last and stormed home; clearly I'm still on his bandwagon but there are some tough ones inside of him. (1) LET'S DRINK ON IT is back on the Levy after crushing lesser and he should be good enough to hold his ground from this spot. (2) THE REAL ONE gets much-needed post relief for Lachance.

Race 9

(1) MACH IT SO was a good second to the streaking Take It Back Terry last week, which makes three good efforts to start his 2016 campaign; gelding is clearly the one to beat but he won't offer much value. (4) BETTOR ROCK ON N bottomed a bit from the pocket last out when he should have been better but his prior efforts have been good. (2) TE KAWAU N has hinted at serious ability in his two U.S. starts.

Race 10

(5) SNAP TO IT A takes a needed drop in class and he's had some good efforts sprinkled in recently; veteran just missed at this level four back in a 1:51 3/5 mile. (6) ALBERTO CONTADOR N beat better two back on the engine; threat. (3) BIG N BAD was bottomed out by Let's Drink On It last week; gelding is legit and must be included.

Race 11

(4) HALL BRO shipped in and just missed at a price in a good try; give him another look. (1) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH is up in class again and has been razor-sharp. (2) ROLAND N ROCK drops from the Levy and tries a fresh set of hands in Stratton.

Race 12

(1) SUNFIRE BLUE CHIP raced well in the Levy without a win to show for it; Takter trainee faces softer and will control these as the likely odds-on favorite. (4) ROCK ICON flattened from the pocket last out; prior efforts were good. (8) MAH SISH N has raced really well since the Blumenfeld claim but he's stuck in another tough spot tonight; consider underneath at a price.
