Yonkers: Saturday 4/28 Analysis and Video Preview of the Matchmaker & Levy series

MEET STATS: 120 - 342 / $577.30

Best Bet: HIGH OCTANE N (1st)     Spot Play: REIBERCROMBIE (6th)

Race 1

(3) HIGH OCTANE N came home with a ton of pace from too far back in his second U.S. start; he gets needed post relief and looks imposing in the opener. (1) GRAB YOUR KEYS has class and figures to go well from the rail slot. (8) WHOGOESFIRST raced well with better when last seen here but he's got to overcome the eight hole.

Race 2

(2) FOX VALLEY TRIBAL raced better locally two back than his line indicates; Tetrick gets the call tonight and the veteran will be on or near the lead. (1) REAL HERO has paid dividends already since the Fraley claim. (4) STONEBRIDGE WISH is capable, but he's missed some time.

Race 3

(4) URGENT ACTION had one good effort in the Levy, then was flat in his other Stakes tries; this is obviously an easier spot. (5) RAMPAGE JACKSON was very game in defeat last week. (1) TOUCH AND GO has been super in his last two for Sheehan and he gets the rail again.

Race 4

(5) HERE WE GO AGAIN is not a prolific winner but he can be excused for his recent failures; Yannick can hit the lead from this spot. (7) HICKORY HORACE is accustomed to facing better and he has the talent to overcome the poor post. (2) ART TWO D TWO hung on for the win last week; obviously he can repeat.

Race 5

(1) KRISPY APPLE looked much smoother and showed plenty of gameness to rally back and nail a classy rival; she's the deserving favorite from this spot. (2) MYSTICAL DIVA draws right outside of the favorite and she's had her moments in this series. (8) NAUGHYTILTHEEND is better than her lines would indicate; she will probably be done in by the eight hole, but maybe she can be included in gimmicks to spice up the exotics.

Race 6

(3) REIBERCROMBIE raced well early in the Levy, then missed a week due to sickness and last week he was first over into Real Nice (good luck with that trip). This looks like a perfect spot for the gelding to assert himself. (1) CODE WORD paid his way through the series and would appear pretty logical from the rail. (6) POWER OF TARA N finished second in his last two with rail-skimming rides; capable.

Race 7

(2) SEE YOU AT PEELERS has likely exceeded expectations with her flawless 2012 campaign; from the rail, all roads to the winner's circle lead through her. Sears will control the action here and will have to be caught. (3) ANNDROVETTE was completely uninvolved last week in the final Matchmaker preliminary; that won't be the case tonight. (1) ROCKLAMATION has also been solid and she figures highly from the good post. I loved (7) WESTERN SILK prior to the post draw. I think the eight hole totally ruins her, but if you like her, you'll get a good price.

Race 8

(1) DANCIN YANKEE finished with pace last week, but was too far back to threaten. He may have a tactical advantage on his rivals tonight from the rail. (3) RAZZLE DAZZLE was simply awesome last week as Brian Sears' choice. Silverman trainee may be peaking at the right time. (2) FLIPPER J picks up Tetrick and one could expect him to be close up and involved throughout.

Race 9

(1A) FOILED AGAIN lands in post eight, unfortunately right outside of speedball Real Nice. I expect Gingras to float away and either try to tuck, or drive on at all costs to the front if the early speed scrimmage settles. If he wins from this spot, he will truly show what a champion he is. Coupled with the top choice is (1) ATOCHIA, who has been almost flawless in the Levy, gets a perfect post and Ron Pierce ships in to drive. (4) FITZS Z TAM may be overlooked here by the public, but he's been rock-solid and he could be in line for a live cover trip. (7) REAL NICE was perfect in his five preliminaries; but he will really have to work hard here and we'll see if he's vulnerable. This looks like an awesome race!

Race 10

(5) LOLAS CRUISER drops out of claimers, where he was shuffled out last week. Tetrick drives tonight. (1) SPY N was much better last week. (2) SAND BENELLI can be close up from this spot.

Race 11

(5) POKER HAT gets a touch of post relief tonight, and the Pena trainee can live on the rim. (4) SAMANDAR figures to be much more involved tonight. (7) LUCKY MAN has the gate speed to get away alertly.

Race 12

(5) VERSADO returns off a solid win at Chester, and the Surick barn seems to be heating up. (3) REAL FLIGHT exploded home last week from too far back to just miss; obvious threat here. (1) P H JACKPOT picked up checks in all five Levy preps.
