MEET STATS: 100 - 296 / $466.80

Best Bet: REAL HERO (2nd)     Spot Play: SAND SUMMERFIELD (11th)

Race 1

(3) WHATSITTOYOUGRANT takes a big drop in class out of claimers and the veteran should respond. (1) GALLANT YANKEE also has plenty of class and he should take full advantage of the post draw. (7) HIGH OCTANE N was decent upon arrival, but he faces some tough ones tonight.

Race 2

(1) REAL HERO closed with plenty of pace in his debut for Fraley and he would appear pretty logical here with the rail and Brennan driving. (3) LEAN ON YOU lacks the class of others here but he's been racing well. (2) KEYSTONE RIDEAU has seen better days but he can still be competitive with these.

Race 3

(4) FROGGY TURNER has maintained solid form for some time now and he has a post edge on the rival that destroyed him last week. (6) RAINING AGAIN has very quietly gone six-of-nine in this young season. (7) ALFREDSSON faces some tough ones in here and will have to work hard for a repeat win; glad to see Luc Ouellette pick up some catch-drives.

Race 4

(4) SAND BENELLI has been sneaky-good in all recent efforts for Laterza; perhaps Stratton can ride some live cover from this spot. (1) ELECTRIC OUI has plenty of speed and the best draw. (7) GRAB YOUR KEYS may be best here but he faces a tall task from this spot.

Race 5

(1) VALENTINO was a game uncovered second chasing Real Nice last week; he draws best and would appear pretty logical here. (3) CODE WORD has been kind of hit-or-miss recently, however this looks like a pretty live spot. (5) NOB HILL HIGH has done little wrong all series, but he only has one win to show for it.

Race 6

(5) DANCIN YANKEE showed good speed and was a game second to the heavy chalk Blatantly Good last week; he's another that's raced well in every Levy leg and he might be ready to break through into the win column. (2) FLIPPER J has also been good and he draws best, but Sears opted off tonight. (1) SOUTHERN ALLIE has been a disappointment recently for the Burke barn.

Race 7

(3) ART Z has really impressed me and has made me a believer; he has a post edge on his main rivals here. (4) FITZS Z TAM closed a ton in his last two, and has won at nice mutuels. (6) ATOCHIA took a well-deserved week off after his three game front-end scores.

Race 8

(1) REAL NICE figures to get a real test tonight after cruising with little worries in his last three; I think he's good enough to hold the likely late charge from (1) STRAND HANOVER. The latter was a solid two-move winner last week for Luc Ouellette and he's the obvious threat. (3) CLEAR VISION could sit a three hole behind the top two choices; that's not the worst place in the world to be.

Race 9

(8) POKER HAT has his work cut out for him from the eight hole, but if anyone can get the Pena charge over the hump, it's Brennan. (4) WHACKAMOLE HANOVER hung when it counted last week; give him another chance. (7) SAMANDAR fended off all sorts of pressure and was a game winner upon arrival.

Race 10

(7) ART TWO D TWO gets away from his classier Levy rivals and that may just be what the doctor ordered. (6) SAINT WILLIAM A is better than last week's disaster. (5) MR COOLIE ships back off last week's sub 1:50 clocking.

Race 11

(3) SAND SUMMERFIELD has regained his stride recently and he should be forwardly placed here. (4) STONEBRIDGE WISH ships back from Canada for live connections. (6) REPORT FOR DUTY N qualified effectively after his brief vacation.

Race 12

(2) JERRYS BROWN GOLD is back up in class off last week's sizzling effort and he appears sharp enough to take another; Brennan sticks. (1) FOUR TRUMPS A should go well from the rail for Stalbaum. (3) HYPNOTIST usually races as good as he draws, and this is post improvement tonight.
