Yonkers: Saturday 4/20 Analysis

MEET STATS: 113 - 301 / $604.70     BEST BETS: 17 - 24 / $56.90

Best Bet: FOLIED AGAIN (9th)

Spot Play: HANDSOME PRINCE (11th)

Race 1

(5) K SLATER looks to working himself back into shape and there may be live cover to be had here. (3) BE PACIFIC looked ultra-impressive beating lesser last out and he may be talented enough to compete here. (1) WHITE MOUNTAIN TOP is a twelve-time winner from 2012 who had some local success for Team Buter.

Race 2

(3) JEPSON HANOVER returns locally and lands a good spot in a competitive field; maybe. (1) BLUERIDGE WESTERN drops, draws best but has missed some time due to sickness; use caution. (2) ROADWAY drops out of the Levy into a more realistic spot.

Race 3

(7) ELECTRIC OUI has done nothing in his last two from outside posts but that was against better; we've seen this one surprise multiple times in the past. (2) FOUR STARZ TRACE hasn't disgraced himself in his two starts for new connections and now he draws better. (5) MR COOLIE is back with Sears and they almost won two back.

Race 4

(1) ANNIESWESTERNCARD took care of business last week when drawn back inside; Burke trainee is back in the best spot and I can't see anything stopping him tonight. (2) SAPPHIRE CITY almost pulled off the shocker last week; he can be second best if he secures the pocket. (5) SHOOBEE'S PLACE is a solid commodity; can he overcome the outside post?

Race 5

(1) HI HO STEVERINO gets a free ride at this level and he was solid in victory two back. (6) TOBAGO CAYS drops in class, has the ability but also has some tough ones inside of him. (5) LITTLE MICHAEL B cruised down the road as my best bet last week; it wouldn't shock me if he won here.

Race 6

(1) SOMETHING FOR DOC was tested last week for the first time in this series and was worn down; I don't see a speed duel developing tonight. (3) VERSADO worries me with last week's sick scratch, but if he's fit and ready he'll put the biggest scare into the top choice. (2) BET ON THE LAW has two solid seconds out of his last three.

Race 7

(1) RAZZLE DAZZLE took a week off after being baked up in that speed duel with Foiled Again. So what happens? He storms home from off the pace and pays a huge price. Expect him to repeat tonight at odds-on. (5) ATOCHIA finally woke up; veteran can build off that effort. (2) EIGHTEEN is overmatched versus most of these Levy contenders, but he can land a share from this inside post.

Race 8

(3) I LIKE DREAMIN tightened nicely last week at The Meadowlands; Lachance enlists Dube to drive the four-year-old tonight and they could be ready to roll from this spot. (5) WHACKAMOLE HANOVER blasted down the road and was game in defeat last out; similar tactics may be employed tonight. (6) KEYSTONE VELOCITY brushed and crusher versus lesser last week after a couple of disappointing efforts.

Race 9

(1) FOILED AGAIN...$2.10, no place, no show. What more do I have to say? Let's hope that somehow he makes the final. (2) SILENT SWING will try to protect the pocket, then he can be second best. (6) ELECTROFIRE went a long, tough trip last week and folded badly; former claimer is better than that.

Race 10

(3) JACKED UP was a solid second grinding uncovered into a rated pace; this veteran is on the cusp of a victory. (7) FLIPPER J has plenty of class, but must overcome the poor draw. (2) R U READY FOR ROCK is obviously sharp now.

Race 11

(2) HANDSOME PRINCE gets the post relief he very desperately needs and the Burke student can handle these from this spot. (4) FOUR CORNERS was in against some tough ones in his last few; prior to that he was sharp. Let's hope his confidence isn't crushed. (1) BETTOR DESIGN always gives a good accounting of himself from inside posts.
