MEET STATS: 116 - 357 / $598.10  BEST BETS: 14 - 28 / $48.80

Best Bet: SILVER DEVIL (1st)

Spot Play: JUSTIFIED (2nd)

Race 1

(2) SILVER DEVIL showed sharp speed at both ends of his mile last week and he can easily repeat with the free ride at this level. (5) HARD TO MACH flew home and just missed last out; clear contender. (6) HALL BRO showed some improvement in his third start off the bench when he was second best to a runaway winner.

Race 2

(1) JUSTIFIED drops to a proper level and moves all the way inside; Brennan could be controlling the action from this spot. (3) DONAU also takes a needed drop in class, gets post relief and Tetrick drives again; obvious contender but I wonder if he'll be overbet. (2) BROOKSTONE flattened after trying to rally from the back of the pack into a rated pace last week; he will be closer tonight.

Race 3

(2) DUEL IN THE SUN has been racing pretty well recently without a victory to show for it and he should be no worse than the pocket from this spot. Trainer Mark Ford's horses have been going well recently. (1) RONNY BUGATTI has been a disappointment so far in 2015 and I need to see more before I hop back on board. (3) TOWNSLIGHT HANOVER has been knocking on the door for some time now.

Race 4

(2) THE REAL ONE has been ultra-impressive in his two 2015 starts for Lachance; why not again? (1) CASIMIR JITTERBUG was outbattled by the top choice last week and he should be right there again. (5) DOCTOR BUTCH could not reach from a tough spot versus the top ones last out; perhaps Tetrick tries to get involved earlier tonight.

Race 5

(4) MACH IT SO went a big third quarter attacking the leader and was understandably outfinished late. Bamond trainee has been racing well in the Levy series without a victory to show for it and he deserves top billing to break through tonight. (2) BETTOR'S EDGE was worn down on the front end by the top choice and looked beaten before that break; it's conceivable he could have an easier time of it tonight. (5) POLAK A was disappointing last out after being faced with a tougher trip than he was accustomed to.

Race 6

(2) BEACH MEMORIES took a well-deserved week off after racing super in defeat in his debut for the DiDomenico barn; this is a tough Levy division but I think he's sharp enough to get it done. (3) LUCAN HANOVER was used and abused last out yet only got beat a length; hopefully that effort didn't take too much out of him. (5) P H SUPERCAM has his work cut out for him from this spot with tough rivals inside of him.

Race 7

(3) TAKE IT BACK TERRY looks for three in a row and will likely be favored to do so but it won't be a cakewalk; proceed with caution. (1) DOMETHATAGAIN didn't fire with his best last week but he does get needed post relief. (4) FAT MANS ALLEY can close with the best of them when in the mood but he needs a fast pace in front of him.

Race 8

(5) BACKSTREET HANOVER never got close last week when trailing against the likes of Dw's NY Yank and Not Afraid; there are no such foes in here tonight and he's worth a look at a price from this midpack post. (1) HOORAYFORVACATION saved ground with steady trot last week and he can save and fire late again. (2) FORT VALLEY AS was good in his second return start and he can trot up a storm when in the mood.

Race 9

(5) ONE THROUGH TEN should be blasting off the gate and he can get the jump on his main rivals. (6) BIG N BAD would be my choice if he had a better post; does he have too far to come or does Sears drive on early? (1) CONTRABAND HANOVER may be a bit short on class but he's been pretty sharp out of town.

Race 10

(5) VALIDUS DEO drops out of the Levy and into this softer spot after some disappointing efforts; I'm curious to see if Bartlett can coax some early speed out of him. (2) BETTOR REASON N has looked very sharp in his two U.S. efforts but he steps up to face tougher. (1) ART OF ILLUSION had every opportunity to go by last week but hung; at least he lands another good post.

Race 11

(1) FOUR STACES is another Dover shipper coming north to face tougher, but his blowout win last week is tough to ignore; Tetrick's choice. (3) SOURCE OF PRIDE gave way with little fight last out but he's better than that. (7) HERE WE GO AGAIN fits with these but may be done in by the outside post.

Race 12

(3) DELCO ROCKNROLL certainly wasn't awful last week after grinding on the rim; he's my top choice strictly because I don't like anyone else. (1) AMERICAN FLIGHT is up in class again looking for his third straight upset score. (4) KEHMMYWOOD held for a share after saving ground in the same race as the top choice and he hails from live connections.
